My favorite character Ruby fight back

Octavia

Next week the volume finale! I can't wait. I wish these came out faster😩 but don't want her overburdening her schedule but I just hate waiting

BrightHeart

now only 1 week away from the finale and 2 weeks from beginning V3. The hype is real.

LikeCat

Next episode has one of my favorite ,,fights" and characters in it. (I love said character the same way Elijah loves Cinder)

LikeCat

Ah Volume 3 the... Um... ,,End of an Era" Volume. More ways than one.

Kiesen

These two episodes are honestly some of the most satisfying in terms of long-term pay off (both a single volume and many more volumes later), especially that question Oobleck posed to team RWBY. Makes for a hell of a parallel once they can fully answer it and Ruby is finally asked too.

Curtis Murphy

Good that you know about the openings. It's understandable that you won't react to them but it is a shame. Hope you enjoy them. Fun fact, we've already seen Blake using her Semblance. Rewatch any of her fights and whenever you see an after image of her as she jumps or moves out if the way of attacks and that's it.

Nektis Noir

You may not have realized it but you've actually already been seeing Blakes semblance, it's not something coming up. That whole after-image effect occasionally when she fights? That's her generating a shadow clone to take hits while she evades

cipher

The tussle, truffles, brussels bit is peek RWBY humor. Honestly in the top 5 jokes for the entire show

RibKoboldScout

I think the reason we don't see Blake without her bow is because her cat ears probably aren't a part of the model for most of the time, just added for moments when it's necessary. It could be a restriction of the animation software they're using... If someone has better information on this than me, please let me know!

Vex Valor

If the intros were not cut out of the episodes, the full intro would play after episode 1 then afterwards a shortened version would play each episode. I would suggest that each time you start a new volume, after episode 1, react to the intro then continue on with the downloaded episode reactions. That way you are still getting the intended experience of the intros. Please go back and react to volume 1 and 2's intros. We are not kidding when we say they are amazing. It's a lot like reacting to the trailers you did at the beginning.

Flufux

Dr Oobleck...is a character that I really like having subtitles on for. That said, his line: "We're not just looking for an underground crime network, we're looking for an UNDERGROUND crime network!" always cracks me up.

Nektis Noir

She's already seen the Volume 1 intro. So far, it's only been her Volume 2 footage cutting that stuff out.

Nektis Noir

That genuinely is probably the case. The first two volumes had a massively limited budget so a lot of corners had to be cut. And it doesn't help that the first 3 volumes were animated in Poser (a program used primarily for dance animations) simply cause Monty preferred it over Maya for his fight animations, so the team had to employ workarounds for that too lol

James Long

Just don’t watch ahead with the intros. There are spoilers.

Liam Gradwell

RWBY’s humour is definitely Elijah coded. It is stupid, but in a good way. Even I chuckle with it. 🤣❤️

RenaissanceM

Dr. Oobleck’s monologue always stood out to me as well as peak into what kind of world RWBY actually takes place in. In the early seasons especially it’s easy to write off the conflict as that of a typical monster anime. This world is just like ours, except there are monsters that young girls fight with cartoonishly large weapons….and yeah it totally is. 😂 But in these episodes, we get a peak behind the curtain. We get to see what living in a world infested with Monsters whose sole purpose is to kill and destroy does to the human psyche. What it means to be one of the few that can fight back, that the average person relies on to keep them safe, always, even at the very possible cost of your own life. “I am a Huntsman, Ruby, because there is nothing else in this world I would rather be…” That’s actually a somewhat tragic line in a way. Despite being a gifted educator, for Dr. Oobleck there’s nothing else in this world that’s worth doing so long as humans continue to live under the constant threat of extermination…..

bloodyshadow1

can't wait for vol 3, it's gonna destroy her and I can't pretend that I'm not excited

LikeCat

That is some really mixed messaging. (And I know what you're talking about... Unfortunatly. And cannot agree with you more, that it is going to be a rollercoastet)

Jittercritter

I feel like people really underestimate the importance of the campfire scene, especially for Yang’s character

Ko Villa

I must control my need for spoilers because so much happens in the next Volume that she won't believe it. Ahh I can't for the Volume 2 finale, she's gonna go nuts over it!

Ko Villa

The humor in this show has always been top notch, Zwei is one of the best dogs in fiction.

L Frances

I really REALLY hope her files for Vol. 3 comes with the opening attached, cause SO much of the impact of that season is seeing that opening and going... oh no, THAT'S what's in store for us this volume?!

jessie H

Elaborate please?

jessie H

Wonder if Cinder will still be simp-worthy afterwards?

Vex Valor

Thanks for letting me know. I missed that one.

supersoaker

Remember, if you need a new site to watch RWBY with intros, along with a number of other shows, use wcostream.tv. Play the video and set the quality first, when the video restarts, right-click and press save video as. I've pirated a lot of shows from there without problems (don't tell anyone)

demonic-myst

yes she will eventurly stop wearing a bow wont day when or why but its a big character growth moment

Crawlspace

Just a heads up, the openings will spoil major plot points. And in some cases episode 1 plot points. Don't watch them all in one sitting if you haven't seen the whole show. Best spot to watch the opening for the first time is the end of episode one of the season it corresponds to.

Goliver the weird Druid

The answer will probably be no but will you react to the OST of each volume?

Hollyhock

It won't let me watch, even though i fill in the correct pasword 😢

Hollyhock

Oh never mind. I didn't realize i had to add the exlamation mark lol. I may be stupid ❤️

Tactical Mammoth

So glad you're enjoying RWBY so far, looking forward to the next one!

LikeCat

Episode 11 has my fav ,,fight scenes" in Volume 2. (Mostly because of HER)

ConnorH265

You should 1000000% do a watching/listen to the openings to rwby if the themes are going to be cut out

LikeCat

It could be a semi-patreon exclusive. (Since the openings will not be on the Youtube video) We 1000% would watch your reaction to it.

ConnorH265

Also off topic If you watch a christmas movie this year for a reaction PLEASE WATCH A YEAR WITHOUT A SANTA CLAUS!!! It's a Christmas classic

LikeCat

A certain... Birdie tells me, she will love the next one. (I cannot wait for the reaction)

Ko Villa

YES! You're right! I forgot that the openings appear at the end of the 1st episode of each Volume and for good Reason!

James Parry

"And we've got BOOMSTICK!" 🤣🤣🤣

Cinder's Apologist

ah yes, their first training mission. emphasis on the girls are *training* to be huntresses. and yes, Oobleck sure has rapid fire speech which is handy for conveying a lot of background lore in a very condensed time frame. looking forward to how she handles the v2 finale!

LikeCat

And Volume 3. (So far this show is her nice laid-back fun adventure, this will gonna be ride especially after Arcane Season 2.😉)

LikeCat

From Elijah? Possibly, just less positivly afterwards... THAT.

Alexis Cardillo

We're almost done with vol 2, so looking forward to your reaction to vol 3, all I'll say regarding that volume is that you are not ready for what is coming, something that the characters will experience for themselves as well
