This Zwei's "FUCK YO SHIT I'M A FIREBALL" episode 😂

Octavia

Yay more RWBY! Volume 3 here we come! The anticipation is killing me

Cathy Breuer

So... Zwei can be set on fire and pitched like a baseball bc he (like every living creature that isn't grimm) has that protectie Aura. Then, the Aura can also be use as a semblance (the super power most huntsmen seen to have) 😀

General Tacticus

If it's not Christmas yet, then why did this drop literally in between me getting up and me sitting back down at my computer with ice cream? :D

Angel Estrada

Sooo no one’s gonna ask what the doctor is drinking…..

supersoaker

Remember, if you need a new site to watch RWBY with intros, along with a number of other shows, use wcostream.tv. Play the video and set the quality first, when the video restarts, right-click and press save video as. I've pirated a lot of shows from there without problems (don't tell anyone)

Rachel Mae

The way Blake just straight up backhands a white fang member off the train and doesnt even use gambol shroud cracks me up And I gotta appreciate the WF dude that Weiss fights. In a world of intricate weapons (that are also a gun) he chose… big chainsaw That was team cfvy - Coco (sunglasses) velvet (bunny ears) fox (gets his butt slapped) and yatsuhashi (big boi) they come back in v3 but the post v3 books are mainly about their team Don’t forget Ruby and Yang are half sisters so the mystery woman isn’t going to be both their moms. Also that end sequence was technically retconned by crwby idr the reason why but at most it should be taken as a dream Yang has and not something that actually happened

Flufux

Fun fact: Originally, they actually planned for Neo to have several voice lines, but the actress they chose for her wasn't available for some reason, but...instead of having her voice her later, they instead decided to make Neo mute and have that be a big part of her character. You're actually not the first person to compare General Ironwood to Jayce from Arcane, as they have quite a few similarities. On the same subject, Vi from the same show is kinda like a more moody Yang when you think about it. Oh, and...please don't say that Adam was like a brother to Blake again...just don't, trust me.

RibKoboldScout

Highly recommend watching the opening for volume 3 before getting too deep into it!

Flufux

Rocket fuel? Explosive coffee?

Angel Estrada

Idk?!? But he took a swig before the fire came out of his weapon…..

LikeCat

So just for future reference, the Volume 2 end-credit scene is non-canon. Some people still justifie it as ,,it is just a dream", but sorry to desapoint but no, it is not.

Whaf03

Remember, Yang explained to Blake earlier in the volume that she and Ruby have the same dad, but different moms.

MaddieLuna

She already explained why she couldn’t use the website/links for the reaction

jessie H

The ending scene isn’t canon anymore. I think CRWBY changed it to Yang having a dream or something?

EDHPlayer

The post credits scene was originally said to be a dream sequence but eventually was just written out of the story entirely

Jittercritter

Thanks to RWBY being made by an inexperienced team feeling things out for the first time, there are a few seeds that get planted that never quite go anywhere and I do think what happened with Zewi is one of them. Ooblek describes dogs as the perfect companion for Huntsmen, in vol1 Pyrrha says that even animals have aura to some extent, and here we see Zwei displaying aura or maybe even a semblance. My theory was that animals can’t harness their aura for the same reason most humans can’t—it’s very difficult and takes a lot of practice and concentration at first, which most animals won’t have the intellect or willpower to do. Dogs however are such smart and dedicated companion animals that they can be trained to activate their aura, much like they can be trained for things like rescue in the real world. Just one of those little things we sort of see but never get the full picture of (once again I must say that RWBY absolutely needs and deserves a reboot)

.

My guess is coffee.

Geoffrey

https://mega.nz/folder/1Zk3AQ4b#ebmvvClB81QlpkT8eomDgg Hey guys ! This is a huge folder that contains all the volumes of RWBY ( intros/outros included) (Thanks RACHEL MAE who posted it too many reactions ago ) It also has all other stuff RWBY related ( all the soundtracs, RWBY chibi, World or remnant etc ) All she has to do is go there, and download what she wants, since she doesn't really want to check RWBY online . I tried to contact her with direct message these past weeks but got no answers at all. I'm not sure she was this. If anyone could maybe have a better solution to reach her, via discord, mail or whatever, that'd be great. I enjoy her videos anyways, but I reallt really think the soundtracks and intros would add sooo much to the experience.

.

He's a hunter dog. So he learned to use his aura.

Kiesen

I love that Cinder is so dedicated to her aesthetic that she changed out of her school uniform and into her iconic red dress just to kind of scheme from the side. She's so cringefail and I adore her for it. You are definitely gonna love V3 though! It's not my personal favorite (that goes to V9), but very high up in my ranking.

demonic-myst

not speaking " neos mute she never spoke nevber will she also has a book that shows her and romans backstory

demonic-myst

who are you" meet coco a second year and leader of team cfvy aka cofee realising they wanted to keep the cute bunny girl they made just to show off cardins a bully they made her a second year who doesnt defend herself but has super strong team if coco found out cardin was bullying her he would be dead

demonic-myst

team cfvy exist to show you how powerful second years are

Joe

Can't wait to see your reaction to volume 3. I would relay suggest watching episodes 10 11 and 12 together.

BrightHeart

You finally get to see Team CFVY in action led by Coco Adel, the badass lesbian with a minigun and a reputation for breaking girls hearts and school records.

LikeCat

You either love or hate this ,,mystery character", there isn't really an in-between in this. I personally LOVE her (kinda how you love Cinder). To those who claim to hate her, I think they don't ,,see the message hidden within the pattern". (Yes I'm using an Arcane quote, I'm STILL trying to cope, okay? Also Viktor's lines are so quoteable 🤣)

Nektis Noir

To answer your question about Neos eyes, yes that was confirmed a weird animation error that happened during rendering. Her normal eye color is the mismatched colors you usually see. It actually caused a lot of people for awhile to think Neo really had silver eyes like Ruby's but no that's not the case.

Nektis Noir

Interesting that you interpreted Blake's bond with Adam as brotherly/close friends. Not saying why obvs. Just very interesting 👀

Nektis Noir

Your theories surrounding the woman in red that saved Yang are honestly entertaining. It's interesting to see how either on the mark or off the mark some of your comments surrounding her while those of us all caught up pretty much know all about her XD

Nektis Noir

Also just a reminder since you kept specifically asking if the woman was "their mom" in reference to Ruby and Yang, Yang has two moms. Her and Ruby's mom Summer Rose that vanished on mission and her birth mom that abandoned her and her dad soon after she was born. You may not have remembered that given it's been a bit and you were sick when you heard that reveal.

The_Fish

What, you didn’t know corgi’s just did that? That’s completely normal for them

RibKoboldScout

Blake did say in the previous video that he was her partner/mentor, so them being close friends makes sense

FrisbeeDude42

Honestly, in a world where you’ve been told “everything is also a gun”, why did you think the dog was an exception?

Cam02

I highly recommend watching the first 4 episodes of World of Remnant before Volume 3 because it gives information that will be good to know before going into it.

AJ

I've missed these. Thank you!

Phineas97024

Remember last video, Blake said that her semblance is the ability to leave behind a copy of herself to take hits for her. That’s what you saw in her fight against Torchwick. And Weiss’s dust let’s those copies turn into stone or ice etc.

Andy

Coco <3

man-of-bvz1n3ss

Seconded, the WoR shorts are extremely helpful for some of the lore behind the show. Also the Volume 3 shorts are something to watch out for.

man-of-bvz1n3ss

I feel like a dog capable of oneshotting Beowolves was phased into the background for a good reason.

Ko Villa

I honestly LOVE your reaction!!! Don't know how much I can say without spoiling so here goes. Presenting team CFVY led by the badass minigun user Coco Adel. They are introduced to show you just how strong Second year's are compared to First years. CFVY didn't even break a sweat. Zwei is a mystical creature, we do not question the ways of Zwei or his Corginess. But for real tho, every living being has an Aura (except Grimm) Zwei belongs to Ruby and Yang's Dad, they're all warriors so you can imagine the Dad trained Zwei. The mystery woman at the very end? You're either going to love her or hate her there's honestly no in between when it comes to her. I loved listening to your theories, can't wait to see how you'll react when you finally get your answers!

NorseRoseArts

Try one of their admins, if you're on the Discord server.

Hakori

this volume has one of my favorite tracks in the entire OST as it's end credits. Can't wait til you get to the next volume!

Bryan Forquer

The reason for that is they originally wanted to continue that storyline, but after Monty passed. They had to make some changes for volume 3, and they didn't have time for that particular part. So they wrote it as a dream that Yang has.

jessie H

Thank you! I knew it had something to do with his passing, I just wasn’t sure

Bryan Forquer

I can honestly say that Neo is the only character in RWBY that I absolutely hate with a passion!! She is barely a year older than Yang, Weiss, and Blake. But the writers made her way more overpowered than necessary. Yang is the most skilled fighter in team RWBY, yet she got beat way too easily. I can't wait to see you start volume 3!! Merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 ❤️ ❄️☃️

supersoaker

Yeah, because of buffering but I explained how the episodes can be downloaded from that website

Athena

No because during the Ironwood convo why was my FIRST thought "okay Jayce and Viktor, calm down" LIKEEE LOOKAT THEM THEY GIVE SUCH THE VIBES (without the burning love ofc but I'll still take vibes where I can get them)

Arashi

Zwei has his Aura unlocked. Why... it's half fannon accepted that Yang and Ruby's dad did it. Neopolitan (Or just Neo) is a mute, why/how has never been covered but she's... prominent in the series. Say hi to the official introduction of Team CFVY (Coffee) and their fashionista leader Coco with the chain-gun purse. You did see them briefly right before Team RWBY left for Mountain Glen, but that was mostly Velvet. That end credit scene has been retconned out so while neat, it's not valid anymore. You will find out more about Lady Red though. Volume three now. Hoooo-boy. I /strongly/ recommend watching episodes 7-12 in one set and separate from 1-6. The last half is of the volume is just one a different level.

Beowolf Chow

Pardon the wall of text but there are a couple reasons Yang got beaten here, and neither are about Neo being OP. Between the team arriving in Mountain Glen and the end of the last episode, the team hadn't slept. They spent a whole day fighting Grimm, draining their aura offensively and defensively; and then when they should have been sleeping, they were awake having existential crises. Yang was second watch, so she would have gotten less sleep than any of the others. Ruby had a maybe little more sleep than Yang, and she was knocked out by a kick from a henchman. Basically the whole team were all running on fumes the last two episodes. Then Yang fights her way across a train of henchmen to face Neo, when Neo is not only fresh as a daisy, but already a terrible matchup for her. Neo is a technical and evasive fighter, not a strong or straightforward one, and that is the kind of opponent where Yang struggles. When she can't land a hit, she loses her cool, and then loses the fight. Her going into the fight tired would have been the deciding factor either way, but it would have been a bad matchup even on the best of days simply because of how Neo fights. There is no shame in losing to a bad matchup. Paper beating rock doesn't make paper overpowered. Yang losing this fight sets up important character growth for her, as she needs to learn from this loss. In this fight Yang was throwing punches with everything she had and Neo was dodging deflecting or blocking every one; making Yang angry, making Yang tired, making Yang sloppy. Yang actually got a hold of Neo at one point, and instead of using that grip to finally bring her in close and pummel her, Yang tosses Neo away, and simultaneously throws away her one possible path to win. If you look at Neo's face in that moment Yang has ahold of her, she looks scared. I think it's because she realized how the fight could suddenly swing Yang's way. Also, one year older makes a big difference. Team CVFY is only one year ahead of team RWBY, and we see Coco instantly blow away three Nevermores the size of the one it took all of team RWBY together to beat in Volume 1. That's just the power curve the show lives on.

Beowolf Chow

Neo does swap her eye color as well though, just to be quirky. When her and Yang square off, she changes it a couple times.

Phoenix_mercury

Iirc the end scene was changed to just be a Yang dream

RenaissanceM

Guys……Guys, she made it to Volume 3…………

LikeCat

I'm both scared (for... Reasons) and extremely exited. Volume 3 is where the REAL fun begins.

Nektis Noir

There... doesn't need to be a why/how for her being mute. It's a disability. It happens irl. And Neos background has in fact been covered. Mostly via the novel Roman Holiday but also touched on in a later Volume.

SauceyRed

I remember hearing that it being a dream was how they wrote it off. Did they specifically say that the entire scene was non-canon?

SauceyRed

06:49 Aw man, I forgot they removed the Wilhelm scream, sadge :(

SauceyRed

Wait was Neo only a year older than Yang, Blake, and Weiss? I guess I never really thought about her age, but I had the impression she was a bit older, maybe early 20s? Idk why, just assumed she was a few years older than them, maybe because she seemed a bit more skilled, more on the level of Team CFVY, or above.

SauceyRed

Yup okay, just checked the wiki, she was 21-23 during V1-3 (referenced from a Reddit AMA where the writers mention Roman Holiday ending 3-5 years before V1 starts), so my impression was right. She's a fellow early 20s shortie hell yeah!

Phoenix_mercury

Sometimes disability *are* caused by things though, also happens irl

Cinder's Apologist

hehehehe she is HOOKED. once again, loving how perceptive she is about certain plot details. and continues to be hopelessly gay for Cinder XD looking forward to her reactions to volume 3. this will be very fun indeed.

TiroOnaka

Who is the lady at the end? That's Ruby's dad.

Eliteguard99

"Who the hell is that?!" They call her Deus ExMachina I hear.

Charli

Zwei is Tai Yangs dog. As a Huntsman it makes sense that he would unlock Zwei's aura especially given that Patch has been known to have Grimm appear within the settlement. Dr. Oobleck and Tai are close friends hence why Oobleck A) Was fine with Zwei being on the mission and B) Knew that Zwei was combat trained.
