Did the face cam footage get corrupted?

Moonlight Mariposa

Is there no Elijah footage? It's full screened onto the episode and we can only hear her

Noxious

Might need to take it down, and try again. ^_^

David Johnson

The map being on his tooth means both that it is *really* hard to steal, but that he literally *cannot* know where the pearl is...yet have the information with him at all times. I guess they didn't predict Silly Putty...er..."Goofy Goo..." Dragons seem to have anger-managment issues.

Noxious

No worries! ^_^

Eliteguard99

I forgot how sloppy Claudia’s villain arc is lol

Not-So-Average-Fangirl

Alright everyone! A new version is going up now! Give it another 10 min and the new link should work. Sorry about that!

Noxious

Season 4 is definitely my least favorite of the Series, things--At least to me, get a lot more enjoyable from Season 5 onward.

So many good things are coming! Yes yes, practically Rayla’s whole family is in those dang coins… time will tell if she can free them. It’s fun seeing how this show is getting you worked up! So many of the these issues discussed are so tangible and real that it’s hard not to get frustrated along with the characters. As others have said, it gets better from here and oh boy they are not wrong. Some of the best moments of the whole series are coming very soon! The first episode of season 5 is one of my favorites of the season, might be because I had the pleasure of watching it for the first time at SDCC 2023 with the creators and a room full of fans. Looking forward to your reaction!

Moonlight Mariposa

I have to agree, I think season 5 and especially 6 is where the show PEAKED for me. Not that anything before that was bad, just that the stuff coming is so damn good

Rachel Mae

I’m also a certified Claudia hater ☠️ sorry to y’all who do like her

Suplee215

Great reaction. I got to say Kiram is who I hate most I'm the show. He certainly is way too much into past traditions. At least those that benefit him. And he was trying to use the fact that his sister won't kill him to declare victory. Certainly the worse type of holding onto the oast

To recap: The sunFIRE mage uses FIRE magic to fight his FirePROOF sister. What an idiot. Also 'no king or queen can simply abolish it'. It wasn't a law passed down by the sun herself. A king made the law, and a later queen abolished it.

Christopher Malone

so not a Claudia hater but I understand why someone would as we find out with another character that embodies "I don't approve of your actions but I understand them"

Nightowl

I’d hate her as a person but love her as a character.

Flufux

Interesting perspective you brought up there actually. The more realistic you make your villains, the more annoying they can come off as...since they hit closer to home. I guess that's why people like over the top world-conquering bad guys over common bullies in media. Also, totally agree on the use of the word 'but' means that anything said before that becomes irrelevant. So many people use lines like "I'm not homophobic, but..." or "I'm not racist, but..." and well...it's annoying.

I actually really like how Terry and Claudia were handled in the climax of this episode. For a lot of the season we're sitting there like "why the HELL is this Earthblood elf okay with her dark magic?" In the end, it's because Terry knows that Claudia's loyalty to her family comes before anything else, and he can respect that. Every bad choice, every dark magic spell she's cast has been for the sake of saving her father. But tricking Rayla and keeping the coins wasn't done for Viren. It was done out of malice and spite for Rayla, so Terry calls her out on it. And interestingly enough, it is BECAUSE Terry called her out that Claudia went back and gave Rayla the coins. It's the bare minimum, don't get me wrong, yet it drives home that Terry is the last tether to Claudia's morality. Doing questionable/immoral things for loved ones is tentatively 'okay' in Terry's eyes (he did kill Ibis after all though it came with a lot of emotional turmoil for him) - but being mean for the sake of being mean is NOT something he can stand by and watch

Going into this episode, we only had one question; who was Elijah going to go off over more - Claudia or Karim? My money is on Claudia. ... I was right! When this is over, we're going to need a super cut of all your Claudia moments, each one slightly faster than the last. I predict that by the end of her arc she'll have you swearing in Latin, and you don't even speak Latin (as far as I know...)

LikeCat

So... Its not that we love Claudia... We don't. Its that we find her dorkiness and her actions clashing as an interesting ,,character trait", if that makes sense.

Verdant Crown

I used to like Claudia a lot, but at this point in the show I was just straight up tired of her. There are a lot of good things coming up though, I'm a particularly big fan of book six!

Bailey

honestly the contrast between silly dork and cruel actions are one of my favourite things about her lol

Daniel Drew

Who was that In Memory of dedicated to in the credits? I missed it
