Let's be fair and look at it from Jentry's perspective: she just found out the boy she likes is an ancient demon that's been deceiving her all in an effort to kill her. That gives off predatory vibes, if nothing else. Kit may have changed, but it's come a bit too late, too sudden for her.

So funny thing, I literally just found out about Big Tex's existence the other way when I was randomly researching things, and the wikipedia page mentioned he showed up in an episode of Jentry Chau. That might have actually subconsciously inspired me to finally get around to rewatching these lmao
