Yes! Looking forward to this.

LITERALLY SCREAMING!!!! VOX IS A WALLPAPER NOW

Eliteguard99

Copied my post from Mosco’s reaction: Ice cold take: it’s perfectly normal for couples/partners/spouses to have verbal arguments/fights. Being different from each other is part of being human and not everyone is a cold emotionless machine who makes 100% logical decisions at all times. Also if your relationship hinges on never having an argument with your partner your relationship is doomed to fail and will not last.

DarkDragon77

I hope there is art of Vox with the seraphim angel wings look because I need that for my phone wallpaper fast

C

I get the frustration with Charlie, but my take is that Charlie needs to have a “dark night of the soul”, her lowest point before she can actually reach character growth.

Bailey

YESSSS! The best part about Wednesdays is the double doe of Hazbin! I watch the episodes when they come out, sleep or ruin my sleep schedule, then I get to watch these later in the day! Vox is getting pretty scary at this point. Like yeah Alastor is right about him needing the Vees and that he'll ruin his own plans later, but for now he's showing how dangerous a super charismatic cult leader that pretends to care about the people and manipulates them to further his own selfish goals can be. Also I love all the wires and cables Vox uses. I know it's meant to parallel Alastor's eldritch tentacles, but it also sometimes gives me Doctor Octopus vibes lol. It's also nice seeing progression in Charlie and Vaggie's dynamic. Charlie really does need to just be snapped back to reality sometimes, and this whole arc will be really good for her in the long run. Also, the revelation that Lucifer can't actually harm sinners is very interesting. Poor guy accidentally gave evil a way into the world, was cast into the dark pit he created to be the king of a realm he never wanted, he can't even do anything to the sinners thrown in with him, his wife that he used to be super close with left, and now his daughter kicks him out. I'm excited to see what you and Moscoe have cooking for your show! It sounds incredible, and I'm definitely checking it out when it airs! Nice to hear the progress is going along well too!

Phineas97024

Honestly, regarding Charlie…I thought this was really refreshing. My biggest complaint about season one is that the divide between Charlie and Vaggie in episode 7 barely got any screen time. The fact that they’re dedicating this time to showcasing the divide between Charlie and her loved ones makes me respect Viv as a writer all the more. Also, I think this whole situation makes Charlie and Vaggie’s relationship a lot more fleshed out. Another problem I had with season one. In a weird way, this ironically makes me ship them a whole lot more.

SleppyPanda

Soo next ep i hope you brought tissues but for the reason you might expect

Jennifer Rose

it annoys me a little that Charlie has messed up so many times trying to help people, specifically Angel, and when it happens ONCE to her from her dad who was genuinely trying to help, she gets so upset 😭😭 like girl- ✋

Millie

You know it's serious when elijah gets close to the camera and throws up angry gang signs lolll

Moonas

There is more in Rosie situaction - None of the Sinners Overlords can contact with human world, so she can be someone else who just pretend to be sinner. We never saw Rosie eat human parts, Alastor did, but she never actually eat one, so she can not be a cannibal.

RanoPano

I agree that there is obviously something more to Rosie's character. I don't imagine you can grant that much strength to a sinner without some hidden source or borrowed power.

og.monstr

This is the Vox I've been waiting for: a properly sinister chessmaster. 😈 Also: I still feel SOOOO bad for Vaggie, like, she goes through hell for the sake of Charlie and the hotel! Also also: Lucifer needs some fucking help; if he wants to be a part of his daughter's life, the least he can do is learn her friends' names. 😑

Phoenix_mercury

Yeah, having messy bits and working together through them is *part* of why strong relationship are strong, a relationship that is never messy never has the change to build strength, one analogy I like is a take a shelf(relationship)and batter it down over time(life and struggles) whilst applying a strong glue occasionally(working through those issues together) to any cracks as they show up and let it set(give it time), the cracks aren't what made it stronger, the glue is but only when given time, a shelf that's never worn down that suddenly has something strong on it will snap fast but a shelf that's been through shit and been repaired and strengthened each time isn't going to snap anywhere near as easily

Phoenix_mercury

Agreed, it feels rare these days to show couples actually being messy and *realistic* bcz no couple is perfect and any couple that never fights isn't realistic, they actually showing issues and working through them but still struggling has me loving them so much more

Xandred_Bass

Episode 6 is by far my favorite episode in this entire show. We'll see if you agree. I predict gay panic

LikeCat

If you mean Angel - yeah, Luci sure does | If you mean Vaggie - no, I dont think so, remember she finding herself... Even if I think at the end she will realize she likes Vaggie.

Veritsas

19:30 OMG THAT’S NOT FOR MAMMON THAT’S FROM MAMMON?? I THINK I SAW THE DASH MEANING ITS FROM HIM?? idk i was thrown for a loop for a second because I just rewatched mastermind and mammon seemed to get along great with satan… so really interesting that he’s using his love language (money) to try to get lucifer back? i would expect it from Bee or Ozzie, but definitely not mammon 🤔 also now i desperately want lucifer and moxxie to talk about musicals pretty please.

DarkGodHao

You know upon thinking about it.......No one in the Pride Ring has portal capabilities except Lucifier so Hell doesn't have any real abilities to harm or invade heaven regardless of how mad they are, if anything Heaven simply needs to keep their shields up and doesn't bother hell for few decades and just simply watch from above since apparently they can see Charlie from their command room with no effort

Bailey

Absolutely. I love Charlie more than ever now BECAUSE she feels more real. I love super sweet and kind characters, but a lot of the time it feels like writers are worried that making them crash out will ruin that. But personally I think seeing the kind character lose their temper and fuck up from time to time makes them more engaging. I'm super excited to see Elijah's reaction to the next episode. Both for the resolution of this arc, as well as for... another big reason...

LikeCat

My MN hyperfixation kicks in HARD seeing the thumbnail and seeing patterns where there are DEFINATELY no patterns whatsoever - There are nine red „eyes" around Vox in this specific screenshot (four ones to his right and five to his left - two behind Elijah)... 😉👑 ... His presense is HAUNTING me even when I am watching something (seemingly?) unrelated... And Im only at 115

ItsSimmeRin

Such a valid crash out Charlie, she has been IRRITATING and just ARGH

Liam Gradwell

Same Elijah. I admire Vaggie managed to tell Charlie the harsh truth! She is Girlfriend of the Year and she needs to be appreciated! ❤️🌈

Special K

You touched a little on my theory. I don't think Rosie is Rosie. I think Lilith is in Rosie's body, and Rosie is in Lilith's (which is why Lilith never speaks when we see her, and we don't see her eyes). It would explain how Rosie acted towards Charlie in Season 1, and how she somehow has enough power to make someone else the most powerful sinner in hell (making them more powerful then her if she were truly just a sinner). 40:40: "But how does he know that?" My guess is the big ass TV he crashed through the wall when he went to the hotel for Charlie's interview. Would be super easy for the TV/Media Overlord to be able to listen in from any TV, especially one of his own.

Zora Brightwood

Is it a coincidence that Lucifer's favorite musical is a duck version of The Great Gatsby, and Jeremy Jordan is on Broadway in The Great Gatsby this year, I believe. Either a funny coincidence or an even funnier shameless plug for The Great Gatsby on Broadway this year.

Millie

But if lilith has rosie's voice and that's why she never talks, why does rosie have that old-charming-lady voice? I doubt that's what lilith sounds like lol

Special K

That's a great point. I still think Lilith is in Rosie's body though. If not Lilith, Rosie is not who we think she is. There's no way (in my opinion) she is human soul sent to hell.

Elizabeth Femia

I literally texted my friend everything you said about charile and Vaggie

Whiskey

I have a feeling that pile of money from Mamon is exactly what the note says. "This is a bribe, come back." Literally just trying to get Lucifer to come back to do his job.

L Frances

I will say, to counter Alastor's continued criticism of Vox relying on others to boost his power, that is both a) something that Alastor HIMSELF is doing with getting his power from Rosie and b) not necessarily a bad thing. Relying on others for support & help to achieve your dreams is in most situations a good thing, and it's what we're repeatedly asking Charlie to do this season. In fact, I fully get Vox & Charlie's arcs mirroring each other's now, cause they are both hurting themselves by hurting & pushing away those they rely on for support. And for Vox, he's putting more value in Alastor fearing & respecting him, and less in the honestly good & (for him) positively healthy thing he had going with the Vees. It's really interesting. Lol, she was so distracted by investigating Lilith lore that she totally missed the "make hell great again" line. I've never seen reactors so fucking satisfied to see lesbian girls falling out. That's how much Charlie has earned a damn talking-to this season. Honestly, props to Viv for predicating so much of this season on viewers hating her loveable protag. Honestly reminds me, like much of Charlie does, of Rapunzel in Tangled the Series, only here we can actually entertain people castigating the princess like she deserves.

Bailey

I've been super impressed with both Charlie and Vox's arcs this season. As frustrating as Charlie has been, giving her these flaws and having her go through an arc is super satisfying and engaging, and I love her and Vaggie even more now. As for Vox, I really love how they've been writing him. He's so much more engaging than Adam due to being around more and having his own arc. And I liked Adam, but Vox is more interesting to me. It's also nice seeing a villain who poses more of a personal threat. Vox is quite powerful, but nowhere near as much as Adam, but he's managed to cause the group to drift apart, which feels higher stakes. All while he's managed to be both adorably pathetic at times and scarily menacing at others. His musical numbers have also been incredible and I'm glad he's got so many.

Meredith

You need to react to episode 6 like now I've been waiting all day Please please please react to it🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Yahir19

YES! FUCK YES! Ive said this to everyone! No one! respects lucifer! no one fears lucifer! that duck boy twink is a fucking joke! but no one wanted to believe me! "oh people fear his powerful, he's not supposed to be scary" WHAT POWER?! YES!

Henry

Elijah with the hazbin intro is like the wolves in Zootopia. If she hears it, she has to dance.

Brendon Blouin

I love Lucifer but he's a dumb ass, he cant hurt "sinners" right so get a different sin to do it like Mammon who wants him back, or if he doesn't want to swallow his pride by asking order a Goetia like King Piamon to doit.

xman t

You actually had it backwards I'm pretty sure. Mammon was trying to bribe lucifer to get him to come back

xman t

He's still easily the most powerful being in hell and no sinners except vox actually know he is literally incapable of attacking them

Suplee215

I think youre a little too one sided against Charlie in terms of the Lucifcer thing. I think the angels would have had a much easier time and been able to get the fact that redemption was possible across without the failed "attack". That certainly elevated the hostility right away and while Vox probably would have still had the upper hand, I dont think its that much. Its totally fair to put so much blame on charlie too for playing into the spin cycle but that doesnt erase how big a mistake that was. Of course asking him to leave was horrible and right now nkt making good decisions

Henry

Vaggie’s argument with Charlie reminded me of that scene from Encanto where Mirabel says “the miracle is dying because of you!”

Mari Diaz

OMG SO IT WASNT JUST ME

Matthew Dunne

So, two things. One, that isn't just a pile of money with a note from Mammon (which I think is less about wanting Lucifer to do a job and more with actually missing him), it's on top of a whole pile of gifts from the Sins. There's a jar of candy with Bee's initial signed on it, perfume in Ozzie's colour, that doll he waves in Vaggie's face is clearly modelled on Belphegor. Heck, he even has a massive hat in Satan's style. They all seem to be reaching out to him. Two, one may notice that Lucifer keeps framed pictures of the Sins on his wall. Sure, they're in silhouette, but one can clearly make out that it's all of them. This is a new space for him, so he has to have done that on purpose. And they're given the same space as the picture of himself with Lilith and Charlie. So it really looks to me as though Lucifer actually does regard the Sins as family. I honestly find both of those details rather touching. (Kind of annoyed Elijah didn't pick up on them, frankly.)

NamelessSoul

100% agree this episode really brought Vox around for me, finally showing some power and it is terrifying. That seraphim look was insane! Interesting to confirm that Luci has no power. We hate to see the girls fight but it was very much needed.

Mari Diaz

I thought we were supposed to think Rosie is a sinner cuz shes an overlord. Only sinners can be overlords

May

People have not given Vox enough credit. Alastor saying he’d be nothing without him has always been a blatant lie meant to get under his skin. Vox is completely equal if not the most important of the vee’s. He’s the leader. The first episode should be enough proof that Val and Velvet could absolutely never make it so far on their own, because Vox is the only one making sure public opinion doesn’t turn against them. He controls the news and the electronics. He’s an obviously great at spinning things and turning someone’s words against them. And he’s the responsible for PR. He’s the business guy, not Velvet and Valentino. You can’t have a business without someone actually running it. Valentino and Velvet would never have been able to rally up hell. Vox has a talent for public speaking as this episode proves, and it’s not something that just anyone could do. Additionally, I find it interesting that Charlie sorta parallels Sera and Vox this season. Charlie has fucked up to the point where just sorry isn’t quite enough, similar to how Sera has basically just been told be hell that sorry isn’t enough (Though Sera fucked up way worse). Vox is too fixated on Alastor that it’s going to probably ruin his relationship with Val and Velvet, just like Charlie has been hyper fixated on Vox and how the rest of hell views the hotel, which is also ruining her relationships. Also, maybe it’s just me but the moment Vaggie said “you’re destroying the hotel” reminded me of a scene from Encanto which Vaggie’s VA is the lead actor for and says a similar line imo. I wonder if that was intentional. At very least the Great Gatsby Musical flyer Lucifer was holding was definitely done because that’s the musical Jermey Jordan was a part of last spring lol.

og.monstr

Fair point. To be clear, though, what I'm more concerned with is the fact that Lucifer doesn't really seem to click with Vaggie, Angel and the others, despite the fact that he's part of the hotel now. I'm interested to see if his character arc involves growing closer to them, perhaps even ending up as the new Team Dad.

Elias Cristerna

26:14 Emily really said SAL... U... TATIONS!!!

Tristan Haller

You pondering whether Charlie has greater power than Lucifer when dealing with Sinners, and now knowing Rosie is the one holding Alastor's leash, and thus probably tied into whatever happened with Lilith and the start of the exterminations, makes me look a *lot* more into Alastor and Rosie singing about Charlie being 'full of potential that [they] can guide' in Season 1...

Mictla

Vaggie is the best.

Rafał Tupicz

Not even that, we can see that lucifer can damage buildings and landscapes. So he can just burn all the sht up, split the earth or something. He doesn't have to directly hit Vox or other sinners

Angelia Dark

I think Al is PUSHING Vox to be the most powerful Overlord. It would make his contract with Rosie moot.

Elias Cristerna

I don't think so, I'm just saying they both enjoy the ballistic tackle hug.

Ryan

An insert during the Patreon edit? We are blessed! Oh, Charlie. Charlie, Charlie, Charlie. I completely understand the hyper focus (hides a notebook with hundreds of almost identical iterations of the same idea). But girl, you need some sleep. As I always say to myself, "you don't need to fix this right now." ...so, which one of the dancers is an eight? They all look identical! Why set up the joke and not pay it off? Or is there like one subtle difference that I am not seeing? So glad that the plot finally boiled over. Charlie was getting on my nerves, too.

Bug Catcher Jacky

I think the one Vox kinda pushes away during his song is supposed to be the eight lol

Jessica V

I had to laugh when you had the exact same expression as Val when Vox was singing to Carmilla

Matthew Dunne

Lucifer being salty that people don't like his show is hilarious considering that Jeremy Jordan starred in the actual Great Gatsby musical. From what I understand, it did not get the warmest reception.

Costia Rose

Vaggie is the best character this season.

Lazy Psyker

Vox has carried this season hard, he's such a great villain. He may not be the most powerful sinner but his ability to gain followers and incite the masses is way scarier in my opinion. Really plays into his cult leader past. Also it helps that what he's saying is right. Yes as viewers we know everything but from a sinners pov Vox isn't a bad guy for what he's trying to do. 1) Hell has suffered greatly at Heaven's hands, why would they forgive or trust them? 2) Even if redemption is possible that means living under the rule of the ones who ordered the Genocide to begin with. 3) Lucifer doesn't care about the sinners so telling sinners they need "a different kind of despot" makes sense. Meanwhile Charlie preaching forgiveness comes off as rather vapid and almost cruel to the sinners that where exterminated. Just "forgive and forget" after all that? That's pretty shallow and callous considering what Hell had to go through. Also Vox 100% beat Al. Yeah he give up but he was never taking down the Vees in his weakened state. Ofc we know Vox is gonna end up ruining his own plan because he cant help fall for Al's goading. But at least he's made for a great antagonist this season! Hail Vox Populi the people's voice!

max yoder

Charlie looks even worse when you consider that, as a hellborn, she wasn't at risk from the exterminations. Even worse when you add the fact it was her father, the king of hell, who allowed them just to give safety to hellborn.

man-of-bvz1n3ss

*Is* she an Overlord, though? We've just been led to think that, but it might not be true.

PickettsChargingPort

You ever get the feeling the show runners wrote Charlie to mess with Elija explicitly?

Wyrx

Vox and Charlie acting the same, mirroring eachother directly Not listening to those around and close to them, pushing away and not listening Doing what they want regardless. Always knowing best Lol Exactly the same.🤣😂 Sera too actually, but less in some ways. Now atleast

Wyrx

That was probably Lilith, but perception wise..? To Hell it would seem like Lucifers fault solely, and.. He is available. Lilith is not. So... Falls on him by default, for sure

Wyrx

Nifty is strong contender, but Vaggie is up there. Def

man-of-bvz1n3ss

I'm wondering how much Vivzie's plotline for Charlie in this season, about a woman whose public image is constantly slandered and her desperate attempts to clear it up only turn more and more people against her, is autobiographical.

CheetsAC7

One thing I'm personally enjoying about Charlie's spiral this season is how well it illustrates her and Vaggie have definitely been together for a long period of time. I would guess this is not Charlie's first spiral, and Vaggie is all too aware this is something Charlie needs to work on. But, she remembers the woman she loves at her best, even when shes seeing her at her worst. Looking forward to the episode where they finally get to talk about it and work on it. I'm suspecting Alastor isn't as weak as he's letting everyone on to believe. Feels like he's creating his return to the top through Vox, using himself to accelerate Vox's rise to the "percieved" top of the food chain. Once comfortably situated, Alastor will cut him down with everyone watching, reaffirming himself as the most powerful.

Lt. Waffles

you could say that Vaggie has the patience of an angel.

Revan

Holy hell Charlie is putting the Hyperactivity in adhd. And the attention deficit. Really just putting the adhd in adhd. (she does have adhd right? There's no way this girl isn't adhd, she’s a perfect fit for it.)

Revan

Agreed, it's like she’s letting her dislike of Charlie cloud her judgement and prevent her from being unbiased, is Charlie one to talk? Yes. Does that mean what she’s saying is wrong? No. Charlie fucked up and has been fucking up, for ages. But she has good intentions, she’s not trying to do this stuff, and with an absent mother and below avr dad (no offence Lucifer) Charlie would have to rely on herself for a lot of her adult life. Add the fact that no one before vaggie was actually in her corner it is perfectly reasonable for someone like her to not listen to others!
