The Red Riding Hood play remains my favorite skit in the entirety of Chibi. But also, Bees were planned from the beginning so trust me, any jokes regarding them were very much intentional. And don't worry about your gutter mind, you're probably on par with the people who wrote the scripts. lol

Just a reminder, these all are meant to be non-canon little skits. Chibi came out AFTER Volume 3 but due to the lack of anything tournament related (which was the entirety of Volume 3) you could think of these as taking place during Volume 2. These are just comedy sketches, almost Looney Tunes style and outside of two or more skits building off each other like with Jaune playing with RWBY's weapons this time or Ruby taking Ninjas of Love from Blake last time, there is no plot progression from one to the next. Jaune is eternally the lovesick dork who pines for Weiss without realizing Pyrrha is right there.

Mmm... Maybe the one thing that watching all of the main series which did a solid for these. Don't think her reaction would've been as extreme about Bumbleby for that one as it was. Didn't think much of the scene outside of the joke Yang made. But you're reaction pt a whole different context for that whole skit, it was great!

I don't know if someone has already mentioned this, but if you want to see more interactions during the "Beacon Era", there is the RWBY manga anthology. It has 5 volumes, and the last one, V5: Shine, has some good moments between Jaune and Pyrrha. (Also, a good amount of Yang/Blake moments in their respective volumes)

Oh my goodness, FrolicDragon has an even better poster than that one! I'm sad that I couldn't find a link to it. Oh well. As for how Tai raised Ruby and Yang, well, it seems like he really didn't from what we can piece together. At least not for the first several years after Summer's disappearance. There is an amazing AU on AO3 called 'Embers Ever Burning' by MageWriterSola (who is a professional writer, which shows). One of the Best fanfictions I've ever read. It explores that topic pretty heavily. As others have said, the RWBY Anthology series is fantastic!

I feel that about the Chibi episodes being so short. that's why you gotta binge them! Jaune Being An Idiot is basically the recurring gag in Chibi. it's mainly a nod to him being wildly out of his depth during Beacon, but also, like many things about Chibi, it's a nod to some fan perceptions as well as how CRWBY themselves see their own characters. because as far as I'm aware, few people like to rag on Jaune as much as Miles Luna himself, which is honestly nice to see the cast be in on the joke. also have to say, as an ardent Schneekos shipper - Pyrrha/Weiss - I do love the acknowledgement in Love Triangle. yes, it's rough to be reminded how oblivious Jaune was to Pyrrha, but for me... well >.> I was so eager to see your reaction to Yang lifting Blake in that workout montage. those little things are so much better now that we KNOW they were planned from the start :3 the fact that you lost your shit over Blake "eating" Yang... okay, I should've seen that coming lmaooooo XD Chibi Renora really is adorable, and this was happening mostly before we got any serious development for them! and yes, the way they called out Ren not noticing Nora's very obvious signals... that is the story of Team JNPR: girls pining for oblivious boys. btw if you were confused as to why that one RWBY Beyond short had the whole Junior Detectives bit? now you know. it's literally a callback to this Chibi gimmick that they did throughout the series; they took Sun and Neptune's v2 thing and ran with it to hilarious effect. hopefully you'll enjoy their future appearances! finally, I adore how emotional you get over Pyrrha simply being on screen. super valid XD

Chibi Jaune is so oblivious, it actually hurts to watch…even if the skits he’s in are still super funny. It’s just…ugh…Jaune, why are you like this, my dude? When you do run out of official RWBY material to react to, the fan animation RWBY Evermorrow on YouTube has a couple wholesome moments of Jaune and Pyrrha being together. And there’s plenty of love for another character you’ve made your fondness for very clear, including in this video. It’s very fun and there’s a massive leap in quality between the first and most episodes.
