The name Darcy does actually come from the show, they were called that in the credits of Olivia & Yunan. That's where the fandom got the name from, not the other way around :)

Eee such a good ep. I love these reactions. Sorry I know I do this a lot but here are somethings I noticed/pieces together that I found cool!!:

1. The dance Leif invented was the Plantar Family Hunting Dance from that one weird episode in early season two where Anne had to save the Plantars from the scorpion lion! So this confirms she is a Plantar at the very least. There is literally no denying it now, between Marcy’s “I’ve never seen a frog your color before” and just general looks. Idk if she’s his mom but more in that later

2. The moss man Leif rode out on had to be the same one we saw at the beginning of the series with Anne and Wally! It’s the only wild one known, an amphibian myth, and that’s how it came to be lol. From there, Leif visited mother olm and then gave the box to the Vikings, as seen on the vase. I think she spent some time there to write the book Marcy originally found, and then used the box one more time to go BACK to amphibia, because we have some time gaps that can’t be fulfilled otherwise. She left the box on earth behind obviously. And I think she went back into hiding and fell in love and had kids, whom she taught the Dance to, and then she wrote the Plantar Family book in which Hop Pop found the Calamity Box and the words dangerous scribbled all around it. I mean obviously she was the only person to think it was dangerous so. I think a couple generations down is sprig because we have no reason that she would be immortal like Andriass…

3. The hooty hammer is known as Barrel’s WarHammer and if you go back and watch the lore in that Sasha ep, it’s said that Barrel was the strongest and most feared toad of his time and the warhammer is the mark of a true leader. So that was Barrel, the green toad, and apparently he made a name for himself, which is neat. But if you notice, the caste system didn’t exist in the flashback. It was literally created by andriass in a day by rage at being kicked out of the polycule lol (more like after kicking everyone else out but eh). This fool. Idk if Grime is related to Barrel since their different types of toad but a lot of the fandom theorizes that so idk it’s interesting… Barrels hammer can technically go to anyone who is strong enough so we don’t have a whole lot of proof on that one.

OH SHOOT ONE MORE JUST TO WARN YOU: Andrias’s dad is part of the core now and if you listen to the cadence of each time he says that line from the trailer, it’s different, so odds are he’s gonna say it again, but to Marcy this time in her head. Have fun with that! :)
