Haven't watched this one in a while, but I just realized she thought Millie's voice changed dramatically, but Stolas' was almost identical. I just.... how? How can you hear both Stolas voices and think they sound at all similar?

Millie's voice change was surprising but you get used to it. It's not uncommon for pilots to have different voice actors, sometimes drastically different (ex. Amphibia's pilot)

The reason for the voice change was initially because the creator didn't want one VA voicing multiple characters of the main cast. Millie in the Pilot episode was the same VA as Loona.

Don't really have too much to say about the first episode, but I do really like the implication that hell fire is hotter than earth fire. At the beginning of the episode they reacted with fear to their office catching on fire, and they do in other episodes as well.

In the Pilot both Millie and Loona were voiced by Erica Lindbeck (Who plays Emyra in The Owl House) Erica Lindbeck is still Loona but Vivian Nixon is now Millie. Its an adjustment sure but trust us she'll grow on you.

Millie’s new voice took an adjustment, same with Stolas, but soon you will love them both to where you can’t imagine any other voices. they’re perfectly cast.

As some have already mentioned, Erica Lindbeck voiced both Millie and Loona in the pilot episode but now Vivian Nixon voices Millie (and Erica is still Loona’s voice). Also, fun fact, Erica voices Emira in the owl house (and many more)! :D Personally I really like her new voice and accent. I think it fits her well :)
