Brandon Rogers was felt to not have the proper singing ability for a Phantom of the Opera spoof, so he’s replaced by Michael Romeo Ruocco. Pretty smart to have Moxie just briefly ask why his voice is different and then just go with it, since it’s all a hallucination anyway.

Oooh I've been super excited for you to get to this episode. I feel like because of how emotional the show gets they wanted to put as much humour into that interrogation scene as they could and I am very happy they did xD Also, Moxxie's hallucination is a Disney styled referenced to Phantom of the Opera to go with Moxxie's love of musical theater, and Blitz's was apparently a reference to Pink Floyd's The Wall. Anyways, I'm super excited for next episode. I hope you're ready! Also, Stolas's horror movie sequence was amazing and genuinely creepy

Seeing Stolas use his true demon form was so awesome!! Stolas is one of the most powerful characters in the Helluva Boss universe. He's easily my most favorite character in this show!

But yeah, when I first saw Stolas pop out, having reanimated corpses to draw his summoning circle in their own blood, and be all "let me remind you that I am a literal prince of Hell", I was like "I don't think I like Stolas anymore". Then he goes and giggles at silly words, floomphs out at Blitzo's touch and gets to visibly make out with him and I was like "oh, no wait I like him more than ever".

Another thing I find interesting is that for all Stolas is endearing here, this is the one time where he really leans on the unequal power dynamic between them. Like, the way he's so quietly furious about how Blitzo came right to the edge of something that might have blown back on himself, all "me getting into shit over lending my grimoire out would be the worst case scenario, and I'm sure we're all agreed on avoiding that".

Their bizarre trips / music videos were so artsy and compelling. I have to thank this channel and Elijah for bringing this unbelievably weird and multifaceted art into my life. Damn.

Back when the pilot first came out, none of us expected this show to get as deep as it did. A lot of us thought it'd just be a fun silly comedy to hold us over until Hazbin Hotel came out. It's been really cool seeing other people go through the journey of seeing how these characters develop xD

It's become evident that full demon transformations seem to be triggered by intense anger. Blitz being in danger would definitely piss off Stolas. But yeah, this is the reveal that Stolas is a very powerful demon.

i remember I was frustrated by Stolas leaving the 2 agents alive til someone explained that Stolas specifically is supposed to be one of the most chill & safe to summon Ars Goetia (in the book of Solomon they're from) and just loves teaching about stars & plants unless threatened or insulted. So if the agents had tried anything he would have took them out but otherwise felt no need ig! Its cool they lifted so much of Stolas from his original texts ^^ And how well he contrasts Blitzø~
