Now that we're in season 2, I'm excited for nearly every episode. There's still a couple of one off adventures, but this season is definitely full of fun and interesting plot episodes. Now, I know everyone is probably already on board with these, but just to say it anyway, please make sure to avoid giving too much away. Even if it doesn't seem like much, make sure to think about how big of a hint you're giving when you comment something!

Hirsch has said he regrets giving the characters the typical cartoon "three finger" hands after the six fingers on the journal became such a big deal (much less of this show was planned ahead than you'd guess, with the identity of the author pretty much the only idea that was there from the start). Also, that's none other than Mark Hamill as the shapeshifter.

Love how this show resolved Dipper's crush on Wendy in the best and most mature way possible. One of Season 1's codes is deciphered to read, "Sorry Dipper, your Wendy is in another castle"

The reason some of the characters (like Dipper and Mabel) have four fingers and others (like Stan) have five is simply because Alex thought certain characters looked better with four fingers while others looked nicer with five.

Something that I've noticed since this "finger" tip. It seems that only adults have 5 fingers as we see with Soos in this episode as well as what we remember from when Grunkle Stan wearing that 6 fingered glove, and kids have only 4 fingers for some reason.

Actually Gideon is the only kid with 5 fingers, this made so many theories that Gideon wasn't a kid at all, but the whole 4 fingers 5 fingers is a little all over the place
