Yeah all those legal issues with Kesha's recording studio bring a pain and her splitting with them only 2 days before this dropped makes so much sense for the delay. Also, something I noticed is that Bee, being the embodiment of Gluttony, takes everything in like an overpowered empath. That's how she could tell Blitz was hurting and why she mirrored Loona's aggression so hard. Honestly, Tex's generally upbeat attitude probably helps Bee balance out or else all the negativity of just being in hell would be overwhelming

Man they make all the rings of hell look so cool, I'd absolutely love to visit them and explore. It really sucks that sinners apparently aren't able to leave the ring of pride. We'd be missing out on so much. Also man, it's just really nice seeing a softer side of Loona. We got little bits of it here and there in other episodes, mostly as little glances she gave him that are fairly easy to miss, but here she's much more open about how much she cares. I get the impression she shows him more affection in private than in public. Especially that time she almost called him dad. Slip ups like that happen more often when you actually say or think them. Edit: One last thing cause I just remembered, but as soon as Bee showed up my immediate thought was "this is the most Vivziepop character design" If you've seen a lot of her older artwork you'll know what I mean. The colours and stripes especially. The character designs in this universe are honestly some of my favourites. Another edit sorryyyy: But man, I loved Bee beefore, but you gushing over her and breaking down her design really just made me love her beeven more. On top of her amazing design, she's also genuinely sweet and considerate, which is a plus

Also, neat little detail I noticed when I rewatched it: the imp who recognized Blitzo and invited him to join the party is a trans man. He has the black “female” imp horns and his hair has black roots, similar to how Sallie-May’s has white roots

I love that this episode revealed Belphegor is a girl! People thought they'd be a guy for a long time so its DOPE that we get two female rulers of hell! Who knows, we might get more, but a lot of people thought ALL the "7 princes of hell" would be, y'know, princes, but obviously that's changed! Really fun to see tbh. I highly doubt if we see Bee again it'll still be Kesha, but I hope they get a good voice double for her because I'd LOVE to see her character again!

I absolutely loved this episode so much. Bee is 100% me, her design is stunning and the lava lamp hair was so ambitious, all the animation here was beyond stunning and better than 99% of animated shows on tv. This is such an incredible fear for an indie creator. Her design is so creative, I’m so glad it wasn’t just a hungry bee that everyone expects. Loona being a social outcast and anxious is extremely relatable. I loved seeing Loona’s and Blitz’s relationship more in depth.

When I saw this ep I noticed right away that Bee looks a lot like the blue wolf from Viv’s old Kesha amv, especially when she turns blue for part of the song. Then finding out she was voiced by Kesha…man it’s amazing how far and full circle viv has come. Also god the ending with blitz is so tragic! Something else I thought of: I wonder if in ep 7 when blitz starts crying over the photo of his mom, if part of that was him realizing just how alone he is. He’s going through all these photos of relationships he used to have and when he gets to the last one he realizes that not even his own family was, is, or will ever be there for him. That’s why he’s so sure he’ll die alone in this episode.

Kinda weird that Lucifer, Sandman, and Beelzebub are all different characters when they’re usually synonymous with the Devil…but DC Comics does the same thing.

I grew up in a small town and all my family and friends left after high school but I stayed to take care of my dad after an accident and have been taking care of him the last fourteen years. So that hit home too. 😬 I have been meaning to become a Patreon for months now and started catching your reaction around the start of Lumity. I feel like Bee is being genuine in her concern. In my own personal experience, YMMV, it's always seemed to me that gluttony is the over indulgence of food and drink for the sake of enjoyment and pleasure, enjoying them to excess and even beyond. I think there's a subtle difference between enjoying these things, and burying pain with them. Which is what spoke to me about the distinction Bee was making when she spoke to Luna. Everyone at her party was having fun and being gluttonous as she wanted...except Blitz. As for her getting angry...well...show me any demonic royalty that doesn't have a temper. Even Stolas has one. :)

I noticed something with Loona, but I might be reaching. Given what we know about Loona's past (being in the hellhound pound) she would of had to have learned how to protect herself physically and emotionally. So she learned to withdraw herself, become in introvert. It's hard for her to make friends, especially in large loud groups. To her credit she tried to go to the party, but it was too much for her. She was too overwhelmed. Everything was too loud and noisy. And there was probably a lot of jealously toward Bee. Somebody who 'everybody likes'. But when Blitz came to get her, she started to feel a bit more comfortable and was able to socialize. It's like she feels more comfortable in what would normally be uncomfortable for her when Blitz is nearby. She doesn't want him to hover, but just knowing he's in the vicinity help with her anxiety. But I may be overanalyzing.

Bee is a 100% my new favorite character, ngl I kinda ship her, Loona and Tex in a poly relationship LOL. What you said about Blitz and your own experience also hits home for me. The fear of being and dying alone can be super overwhelming at times and can lead to a lot of self loathing. Sorry if that's TMI but I was just really touched by your words.

I think it's interesting the way Loona feels comfortable going back to the party with Bltizo when she sees other people know him, especially considering how she usually keeps him at arm's length. It's like, part of it seems to be just being more at ease at a party when you know somebody, but with the way she eggs him on I also see it as having him be somebody else who can be a centre of attention. It would probably be pretty exploitative if Bee didn't help bring her around to putting a stop to it. At least the final wave off from some folks suggests she could try again without that prop.

I think Queen Bee turned majority of the people that watched into furries. possibly myself included. other than that the queen is the exact opposite of me. I am an introvert that has never been to a party and I have never been in a partnered relationship. Though if I had to say the sins that influence my life the most its gluttony and sloth.

What I heard was the issue that delayed this episode was becasue of complicated contracts, Kesha coudn't be the singing voice, so they had to get a soundalike to do the song

I find it interesting the way Blitzo stands defiant against almost everybody and whatever they say rolls off his back, but we see again how Fizz is the one person who gets under his skin; cringing in fear at the sight of him, having no retort to disparaging comments about his love life, letting himself be pushed around, and now crying himself to sleep over a thing Fizz suggested (even if, so far as we know, that actually came from the one in his head).

Honestly I have gotten the feeling that every ring ruler is a LOT more complicated then we have seen and I honestly quite like that. And I do like that it was really only when Luna insulted her is when she got upset, I am not necessarily inclined to say that she is a good person yet because like I said all of them give the vibe that how they act and the things they do are a lot more nuanced then they can seem.

Honestly coming back to this episode because I think this is my favorite reaction she has had of this series so far. Just purely for how kinda sincerely she shows her emotions and how much she expresses both attraction and awe to a character, its just a bonus that she and I had the same reactions to queen bee.

Bee isn’t the spirit of smashing as much grub into your gullet as possible, she’s the spirit of indulgence and freedom. She does whatever she feels and wants others to do the same. She’s the purest form of Gluttony there is. Mammon is the Greedy version of Gluttony everyone thinks of, smashing food into his ugly mug like there’s no tomorrow. And I think that's a really cool depiction of an embodiment Gluttony!
