Things are still confusing as of now, but the next episode answers some questions (and gives a few more of course 💀)

James Bailey

This is my favorite episode of the show so far. The setting is great, the sound design is awesome. But my favorite thing is the score. The score just felt perfect for this episode.

Rainbow Moth

When N & V touch hands in the flashback sequence in Episode 2, there was a literal spark between them. We don't see one when Uzi's hand touched N's.

Rainbow Moth

Remember that sunlight is lethal for the Dissasembly Drones.

Pigeon Witch

V and N have such a sibling relationship now I love it. The build of Uzi’s crush on N is so fricken sweet.

I know lots of people have thoughts about the wierd way the worker drones both do and don't have self-preservation, and the contradictory way they do and don't care about what the murder drones have done and might do. I think the way they act speaks to their design as disposable, replaceable workers who were designed not to care when one of them dies and get back to work, so they do have emotions, but they aren't biologically programmed to keep themselves alive like animals, they were programmed to move on, and Uzi's generation is only the first since they didn't have to, and could try to be something different. There's the famous Star Trek android character Data who often tries to become human, and holds it as an example to become, and I think these robots are different because humanity isn't in as shining a light as Star Trek's bright future to aspire to, so they're bound to become something different.

Uzi is so living like a fledgling vampire story in this ep with the oil drinking and the sunlight thing. When N and Uzi's hands were in the sunlight, it wasn't like burning, it looked like they were holograms glitching, like perhaps their bodies have become projections and you can just see that properly in sunlight, perhaps why Doll the Russian girl can do sneaky ghost stuff?

Athena

I am just about as horribly confused as you are when it comes to this show, but The one thing I do remember is that Murder drones cant be in the sunlight! It's smth N tells Uzi abt earlier on if I'm remembering correctly. SO if she was a type of murder drone I guess it would make sense for her to also now burn in the sun?

Death just doesn't mean as much to the drones as it does to humans. They've got some sort of a disconnect. Like, it's a bad thing, and nobody wants it to happen, but for them it seems to be on the same level as a bad insult or somebody cutting you off in traffic.
