Rainbow Moth

V is gonna be okay. She just has to be!!

Rainbow Moth

Ngl, N blushing back at Uzi came out of the blue

yes

In the pictures with Uzi's mom(Nori) it was actually dolls mom(Yeva) not doll but also am very glad on how you examine the show especially since this show has so much depth and mystery in it. And the fact Null popped up in the code is interesting because Null means nothing which is something the solver aka Cyn uses a lot, Null is the blackhole that's created a bunch of times and was also used to destory earth. There's a lot of theories

Hyrule Postman

The Absolute Solver voice remind me of Glados, really a good creepy voice. Also, i refuse to believe it until i see a body.

Nori is Uzi’s mom. They introduced her name in episode 3, when Uzi’s dad put Uzi’s conspiracy board stuff in a box that said “Nori’s Kooky Insane Stuff”.

Marisa Maribel

Exactly. If there’s no body shown on camera, there’s no confirmed death. And J said in this episode something like “good ones get backed up”, explaining why she has copies. And V is established as just as good at being a Disassembly Drone as J, so she must be backed up. I’d be very surprised if she wasn’t.

Marisa Maribel

I don’t agree. I feel like with the fast-paced nature of the show in general, the development of their relationship is still handled relatively well. By a different show’s standards, Uzi’s feelings themselves may be considered rushed. But this series is purposely not like other shows when it comes to dragging things out, and they’ve been consistent with that. So all things considered, Uzi’s feelings changing from friendship to romantic, and N’s feelings doing the same doesn’t feel like it’s coming from nowhere. The first two episodes didn’t have him show reciprocation, sure. But I think there’s enough basis from the dance battle they had at the prom, and their bonding session while free falling at camp to interpret as setting it up.

Marisa Maribel

Yeah, when she said “that did nothing for me” when she got Null as the result, I was like “wait no, that’s a good clue!”.

The Drone with Nori was Yeva, Doll's mother. The sentry may have been confused because the suit makes Tessa look similar to a Drone but the blood was human and the contradiction may have overwhelmed it and busting its head may have caused it to go after both ai and humans after rebooting.

Rainbow Moth

Up until this episode, I saw no signs of N expressing interest in Uzi as anything beyond thinking of her as a friend. Ep4 even kinda suggested that he was not into her that way.

Liam Vickers' writing is definitely getting more coherent as this series goes on. There really did seem to be a shift in episode 5. It's probably a lot of feedback from fans, because the story can be pretty hard to piece together in the first few episodes. There are a lot of subtle hints and pause or you'll miss it moments that are just more difficult to parse than is reasonable. I don't think you should have to read text in a background scene that only lasts 5 frames to get information relevant to the main plot making sense. But that's just my opinion. Overall I'm loving the series and you can really feel the care and hard work put into it.

Marisa Maribel

Again, I disagree, but I’ll also just agree to disagree. I feel like it was the beginning of the feelings being reciprocated, but N wasn’t sure yet. Uzi didn’t even seem sure of her feelings until one episode before, so I stand by thinking that these feelings might be more subtle than the way it’s portrayed in other shows, because the show is speedrunning developments. It’s fine for us to disagree on this though, there’s a subjectivity to this discussion, and there’s a basis for both sides.

Not just "Nori," "002 - Nori" - Uzi's Mom. Each episode seems to play with horror movie tropes - Vampires, Carrie, Jason, and now a mash-up of Jurassic Park and Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I suspect the security Raptors have something like Asimov's 1st law, so they can't harm humans. While I like your idea, it may simply be that it's glitching because it violated its commands.

I think there's an in-universe and out of universe reason Tessa and the humans faces are never shown, which is the toxic death storm over the planet Uzi mentioned in the pilot destryoying the atmosphere, and earlier it was that the memory of the humans was redacted from their minds, but I think out of universe it's to make the drones the most sympathetic characters and reserve anything fleshy for horror territory

Verdigree

My interpretaion of what happened with the raptor-bot was she gave it an order to "be a nice dingo", which it had to follow because she's a company employee/technician/human then she called it a bad dingo which caused its AI to go all wierd and destroy itself, but we know a varietey of wierd things can happen inside damaged AI, the Solver I think is only one of them, so just by chance, it got all scrambled up and became a new thing. I think the space suit helmet hiding her face is why it thought she wasn't a human, because they're in an office building on a planet, so I assume identify humans by their face and realized afterwards. HOWEVER, by no means am I certain to be right about all that

I know they probably shouldn't do this cause it could cheapen the impact, but I really really reeeeaaally hope that ending was a fakeout and our girl will be fine. Or that she has a clone body ready like J... totally not biased cause V is my favourite character lol. That said, she'll probably be fine. I'd be surprised if she didn't have a clone body available.
