This is such a good episode! I somehow love Al even more than I did in the 4 years before the release!

Liam Gradwell

Love this episode. Highlights the greatness of Vaggie. Plus, have some theories of my own.

Ryan

But... Vaggie... isn't purple? Mmm... raw venison. Breakfast of champions. It's interesting that Vaggie drops into drill sergeant tone to instruct the guests about trust falls, but her strut is a heel over heel crossover which I would associate more with a runway model. An odd contrast, unless I'm reading too far into things. Wait! In a close up on Vaggie in the BSDM club, we can see her left eye has an eye patch! The red X may just be an aesthetic choice! ...was she a pirate? That would explain the eye patch. And the spear (harpoon). And why she always sings while in that fragment of a pirate ship.

Least favorite episode but still really really good

BigPoppaJohn89

is there a theory that Alastor might be a Wendigo?

Anzac-A1

Wait, are you and Mosco dating? That's awesome.

Angelia Sweet

I want to thank you so much- right now, this is the only way I can watch the episodes. You also force me to breath and analyze the show. Also, to add to the Vaggie ex exorcist theory, she told Charlie "how many times are we gonna watch YOUR PEOPLE get killed?"

Alex Cole

I thought we saw in the pilot (briefly seeing demons grabbing spears after the all-clear) that the exorcist angels tend to leave their weapons laying around after exterminations. That's how Carmine gets angelic weapons to make blessed weapons like in Helluva Boss. Maybe I'm wrong, it just feels like a stretch to me to think Vaggie is a fallen. Still, loved the reaction!

Bailey

There's a lot to talk about in this (and every episode tbh) so I'll try to be brief. I feel like that moment of Alastor eating the rotting deer carcass is a reference to an old pic of him Vivziepop made. It's cool to finally see the Overlords. I hope we get more insight into the others, but Zestial and Carmine are so fucking cool, man. I remember loving their designs in the pilot (especially Carmine's) and it's nice to be able to fall in love with their characters too. Alastor knowing the big revelation scares me, and I'm excited to see what he does with that information Also damn the songs in this episode were peak... the VAs killed it

Matthew

I love the part at the end with Sir Pentious and his eggs going to bed, it was oddly wholesome

Ed Motlin

Regarding Vaggie’s past, it’s clear she has a military background. That being said, the Exterminators in this show can be considered Heaven’s army, so it is still possible she’s a fallen angel that was trained by Heaven.

Corey Peters

I know people like the theory of Vaggie being a fallen Angel. But I want to submit I think Vaggie might be related to Carmine. Don't get me wrong I don't hate the fallen angel theory if fact I prefer it.

Josh Cowsert

For those that know the next episodes gonna be a tough one for her

KyleIronheart

Thought that I had, what if Lilith sent Al to watch over Charlie?

Kev Rink

In regards to your reaction to all the incredible songs. Don't forget in the trailer it said "featuring the most devilish voices of BROADWAY"

Kev Rink

What do you mean with the Vaggie theory?

Kev Rink

I think maybe Vaggie was human, died, went to heaven, but she did something they didn't like and was banished to hell. She definitely seems to be special. Also, a couple of things I noticed for the first time during Whatever It Takes: Vaggie definitely expresses that she wants to spend the rest of her existence with Charlie and even marry her. Second thing I noticed, the darker skin on Vaggie's face and under the x where her eye would be is shaped like an eyepatch. I read that she died from being stabbed (I assumed in the eye). But now I think she had probably already lost her eye before she died and wore an eyepatch. So her former eye is just an x now as a sinner demon

Angelia Sweet

The theory that she's an a fallen Angel or an ex exorcist

FanofFantasy

Everything that Vaggie sang about is perfect evidence that she was an angel! That plus the X on her eye and the spear she uses makes so much sense.

Vex Valor

My working theories is Vaggie was an angel or she died in war and war crimes could be the reason she ended up in Hell. I am also wondering if Carmilla is based on the vampire Carmilla.

Matthew Dunne

All jokes aside, Angel Dust has a point about BDSM entailing a lot of trust. I don't like the "Vaggie was an angel" theory. I think her personality is more compelling if she's implicitly carrying a lot of baggage from a life unceremoniously cut short.

Vex Valor

Am I the only one lowkey shipping Carmilla and Velvette? That song had so much tension XD I want to see more of their interactions.

Matthew Nations

fun fact Zestial is the oldest Overlord while Velvette is the youngest.

Jacob Bess

The exorcist head doesn’t have a halo. Maybe the X turns red when they lose their halos

Phoenix_mercury

ye my response to angel was literally he's not wrong, at all like he makes a great point

Reaper Scythe

The reason Vaggie didn't rhyme "wife" with "life" is because she was rhyming "partner" with "armor". It's a slant rhyme but if she tried to rhyme with "life" it would've thrown off the rhythm.
