Mating Rituals (Patreon)

I might went overboard with the sparkles but honestly love the rainbow flares. Lyall is my sweeter male leads. He contrasts the 'innocent' humans and 'sinner' witches, showing that most evil is learned, not born. Dancing also has a lot of meaning in Ignia, as humans use it as a way to attract a mate, similar to how male birds attract a mate -- men would dance for a lady's hand.

This is somewhat mirrored by sirens who sing for a mate. However, due to the high contrast in numbers between the female and male siren populations, most male sirens change mates every few seasons or so in order to maintain their population.
