In Hunter x Hunter 120, Fake x and x Real, there's a lot of fake smoke but Morel is a real one.

I love Morel so much! The triple fake out just when you start to doubt him is great!

Rekway

Are we to assume Pouf can't fight? I was always confused by why he couldn't simply kill Morel in the smoky jail, or after taking his pipe away.

Dark Queen Fenris Ulfr

Pitou did said to Gon and Killua that Kumugi was some one important to someone important to her and if she died that person wouldnt be himself anymore

Alter Nate

What's worse? Tonpa from the Hunter Exam Arc or a Thousand Pouf's condescendingly thanking you? Hard choice honestly.

Speaking strictly on within the Smoky Jail, it all comes back to our old friend “postmortem nen”. Basically it’s the same reason the Phantom Troupe wouldn’t kill Kurapika while Chrollo had chains in him. Phinks’ explanation was something like, nen with a strong will or intentions behind it can not only persist, but amplify in strength after death. If Pouf couldn't break the smoke then, think about how strong that smoke would be if Morel was killed.

Oak

The fact that Pouf refers to all the Knuckles as “a bunch of thugs” is hilarious to me.

Ah ok. If there's a chance it can amplify to the point Pouf couldn't escape then that makes sense for the first instance.

We need Timmy Turner to get down here and round up these fairy god Pouf's

Its always really sad when i see Tonpa hate because i genuinely love his character, he is so much fun and everyone shits on him for no real reason

cade-carter: I can't tell if that's a joke or not, but I think he is disliked because his literal life goal is to make other people fail for no other reason than they had the audacity to try, no?

It's not so much that I HATE Tonpa or anything, but I think it's fair to make fun of a character (no matter how good of a character they are, because I agree with you that I like him) who makes it a personal mission to be a world class hater. I mean like come on, this dude does a 100 KM marathon every year for the opportunity to give newbies diarrhea.

What Oak said, and also Pouf doesn’t have any shape shifting or claws. So while he can likely beat the hell out of Morel, it might be difficult for Pouf to quickly kill him, similar to how Genthru couldn’t KO Gon in Greed Island with just punches and kicks despite being stronger.

Chris Sharpe

I feel your love for Morel comes from a similar place as your love for Todo. Morel is based off of someone else, but it’s hard not to see the similarity.
