TLDR:

  • I'm adding Invincible season 2 at two per week (starting next week)

  • Poll soon for what is after Invincible

  • Re:Zero after Hunter x Hunter

Even though I was warned several times by comments and even Demon Slayer itself, Demon Slayer ended abruptly with no warning!

I think this is a good time to do Invincible season 2, which I've been looking forward to for some time.
Unfortunately since I'm ill, I will have to start it next week, at 2 episodes a week.

Early next month I will launch a poll for the next show. Feel free to recommend shows below but I will also likely base it on previous polls (the poll will be limited up to 25 options).

Also, as many may recall, Re: Zero was the runner up last time. That will replace HxH ends at a future date that I don't want to imagine right now.

That brings the current schedule to:

MHA x 1
HxH x 3
Invincible x 2

Also, for Goodwin tier patrons, I'm waiting for more questions before I do the Q&A, so feel free to ask here if you haven't already:

Thank you and have a great rest of your week!

Sunny

May I suggest adding HxH x7 to the schedule? 3 is just such an uneven number…

Jhon Hansda

Odd taxi anime is very short season also with very great story if u react to it would be also great reaction from you

César Ríos Orozco

I commented on one of your yt vids for eyeshield 21. I’d love to watch your reaction with all new experiences you got from all the shows you’ve watched. If not possible, could you also update us with a list of shows you already watched and maybe a list of shows yourself may consider already?

TK

have you seen 86? i feel as though that show would get some good discussions out of you. One of my favorite anime

Merfhew

I hope you feel better soon!! As for show recommendations, I'm pretty sure it's already on your radar from previous polls, but Dr. Stone is great. I'm super excited for Re:Zero when Hunter x Hunter has concluded. 🙂

Rekway

I'm a time-traveller from 2026 here to recommend Kagurabachi when it comes out in this timeline. It's the hottest new seinen anime of the year featuring a cool swordsman MC who looks like you lol. Also MAPPA.

Starky

Have you ever watched code geass? It's such a good political thriller with a very similar premise to death note, and is notorious for having one of the best endings of all time. Also you will love rezero. I am so confident it will be one of your favorite shows ever once you get into the meat of it!

Chris Sharpe

It hasn’t come out yet, but the series Akane-Banashi would be great when it does. Basically a series revolving around rakugo with very likeable characters. Basically March Comes In Like a Lion hardware with Haikyuu software.

Chris Sharpe

+ would be nice to see the Haikyuu movie when it streams.

Chris Sharpe

+ prayer circle for Nana So many other series I would love to see that I know you would adore, but know are impossible, like Naruto, Bleach, and Steven Universe

Starky

Oh not an anime so this is more of a personal suggestion but have you ever seen dark? It's a Netflix original German show about time travel and is probably in my top 3 favorite shows of all time. If you love good complex mystery stories it's such an underrated gem

Chris Sharpe
>>143996327

agreed, although it’s still a shonen + would likely take few years for the anime to come out.

Rekway
>>143996327

Not trying to get into the weeds about its categorization, but just putting it on the radar for later!

Vali Sippola

Re: Zero 🙏 Lets go. Extremely excited for that when it starts. Think you’ll love it. Perfect timing as well, since S3 starts airing this October.

James Ancester

Having Assassination Classroom back on the poll would be great. No idea how the rest of the people here see it, but I'd love to see you react to it, especially given your experiences with teaching.

Neygem

Psycho-pass is definitely an anime for you.

Mike Donohue

Can we just rewatch HxH permanently on here?

spam

Nana, chihayafuru both would be great picks, especially chihayafuru based on how much you enjoyed March and Haikyuu

spam
>>143998511

Joining the prayer circle for Nana as usual 😭🙏

Seth

I waited so long for invincible I forgot you haven’t reacted to it yet 🤣

Fate/Zero (2 cours) - Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works (2 cours) - Fate/Stay night: Heaven's Feel I, II, III (3 movies) + Worldwide recognizable name/franchise, good way for people to discover the channel + Stellar Ufotable visuals + Good music (For FΖ specifically) + On the short side (2 cours 25 episodes total) + Performance (views, engagement) can be used to judge whether it'd be worth to move into FSN:UBW and FSN:HF + Good ratio of action:dialogue {On-brand with the channel} + Main focus is morality, high ideologies and even means of governance. {On-brand with the channel} = While there is still demand by the fans for Let's Watch / Reaction videos, it has already extensive coverage - While there is a lot of people realizing their flaws, actual character change is minimal. Characters' personalities remain unchanged throughout (which is what creates the necessary conflict) {while this may be a bit disappointing, it is still on-brand with the channel} (For FSN:UBW specifically) + On the short side (2 cours 25 episodes total + 1 prologue) + Main focus is trauma, following your ideology and personal growth {on-brand with the channel} = More action-heavy than FZ - If you plan to tackle all of FZ, FSN:UBW and FSN:HF it must be done strictly in this order due to spoilers and setting explanations the anime skips assuming you know from the previous iterations (For FSN:HF) + Tone shift, much darker + More adult themes and relationships - Skips too many things that it assumes you know from FZ and FSN Ergo Proxy (1 season) + Short (25 episodes) + Interesting mix of sci-fi, mystery & bit of horror + Philosophical themes {on-brand with the channel} = Title is very underrated, meaning that it has a cult following, but is not a widely-recognized name = Quite possible that most channel followers haven't seen it - Philosophical themes (hard to follow) - Ending seems a bit hurried & the show makes you piece it together yourself Wonder Egg Priority (1 season) + Wonder Egg Priority Special (Special, episode 13) + Short (12 episodes + 1 special) + Stunning artstyle + The whole of the show is characters struggling to come to terms with mental issues and self-imposed burdens, depicted in a surreal way = Show touches sensitive issues like depression, suicide, homophobia, bullying, grooming, which is both very interesting and also tricky for some more immature audiences - Ending does a 180 and finishes on a cliffhanger, even with a special. And with no continuation is sight, it could be described as "unfinished" Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica / Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 1: Hajimari no Monogatari - Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 2: Eien no Monogatari - Mahou Shoujo Madoka★Magica Movie 3: Hangyaku no Monogatari + Very unique artstyle and direction + Amazing music + 100% of the show is interpersonal relationships {on-brand with the channel} = Show is literally 'SUFFERING: The Animation'. Hardly anything good happens. - Due to the huge success of the series, they were adapted into two better 2-hour movies, with improved visuals and cut filler. While you can still watch just the original series, the movies are actually an upgrade and the suggested way to go - The current end was requested from the producers and is not what the writer originally wanted, who had written a proper end to the show instead of something that can be followed by more media in order to milk the franchise some more - There is a second sequel movie on the works with no release date yet. It'd be better to wait until it releases in order to avoid a gap in the story.

Douglas Davis

Ready for re:zero. I think you would really like code geauss or Evangelion. Can't remember if you have seen them before.

Sunny

Bocchi the Rock Oshi No Ko Mushoku Tensei

Joey Healy

While we’re waiting for the poll, you could just do an Attack on Titan rewatch. A casual 10 episodes a week would probably work.

M2GZ

Definitely Run with the Wind, Dr stone, and Mushoku Tensei

Ayan

assassination classroom, beastars and run with the wind! can't wait for the haikyuu movie to be on streaming too, i've been rewatching your reactions to it

Jasmine Tea Enjoyer

Mushoku Tensei (It is long overdue for you to watch an isekai anime, this is the best one) Bocchi the Rock (slice of life moe, new, popular, short) K-On! (Kyoto Animation like Violet Evergarden, the original Bocchi the Rock, masterpiece) Eighty-Six (also known as "86", popular, lots too talk about, new mecha which is rare)

Crystalrose

*its my time to shine* I know i already mentioned this but you should check out Interview With The Vamprie (the TV show 2022)!! There are only about 16 episodes right now so you would be done with it pretty quick 🤩 And if not iwtv then maybe a different live action show? To my fellow melon/cabbage people, lets mix it up!

chonkey donkey

i'd like to see Code Geass if you haven't watched it already. dr stone, blue lock, kuruko no basket, and oshi no ko would be great too

Sparker

Gurren Lagann!!!!!!

Marina B

Hope you feel better soon! Also I've been heavily thinking about starting Re:Zero so this is great timing!

Sunny
>>144025029

He should do Always Sunny, the ultimate mixup from his usual shows lmao

Helena Flores

- Natsume yuujinchou - Nana - Your lie in April - 86

Miido

Psycho pass Season 1!

Serralinda

If you're open to watching a donghua (Chinese animation) then I think you'd really like both Link Click (modern-day supernatural) and Mo Dao Zu Shi (full fantasy). Either one would give you a lot to talk about and they are both animated beautifully.

Musicisum

It's been 84 years... my vote goes to bocchi, and even though it's basically dead media at this point I will always advocate for infinity train

Aizowo

Vox Machina? :0

Oak

Gotta go with Gurren Lagann or Kill la Kill again. Doubt they'd win but I'd love to hear your take on shows so utterly ridiculous yet impactful in the best ways.

Bells

I’d love to see Nana, Golden Kamuy, or Gintama (maybe this one is asking a lot but every episode is a life lesson and I think it’s GTO’s successor in a way). Interesting and varied character dynamics in each of these shows.

Licorice Laces

Your Lie in April? Would love to see your thoughts

Marko

I think we could use some romance anime or something like that. My recommendations: 1. Your lie in April 2. Monogatari series 3. Toradora 4. Golden time 5. Welcome to N.H.K.

Perchik

Hey, first time commentor here. I personally think you should sometimes choose a show yourself. Because only watching what patrons want creates this perpetual cycle where you only watch one type of shows that attracts certain people, who sign up for patreon and vote for the same type of show and so on..

Kahv

ping pong the animation

Josh Bowers

I think you’ve said you’ve seen most western live action, but The Boys or Shogun would be great picks if you haven’t seen them yet

DJ Pavan

First of all take care of yourself man , u helped me a lot

Arakis
>>144010631

It doesn't matter though, at least you looked at the titles.

Ryan
>>144119736

Shogun is also quite short relatively speaking, and it touches on so many different topics every episode. It'd be a very interesting change of pace. I would love to hear Alex's thoughts on The Boys, but it's hard to stay apolitical when reacting to political satire. That's a big decision.

Seth

Fallout should definitely be on the poll 🔥🔥

César Ríos Orozco

As you commented on frieren about exploring dungeons and so on. Would you consider doing a videogame playthrough react?

Perchik
>>144184563

What's a videogame playthrough react? May as well just play a game.

Merfhew

Another suggestion. I think you'd like Link Click. It's a great show.

Merfhew
>>144038739

Link Click is sooooooo good! I haven't watched the other one.

Merfhew
>>144031210

Natsume's Book of Friends doesn't get the attention it deserves. Such a great series.

Merfhew
>>144050660

Gintama!! The number of episodes will sometimes turn people away, but I've never met a person who disliked it after giving the show an honest try. I'd love to see him react to it. I'd also be curious to see which references he does and doesn't get, cause Gintama parodies quite a few franchises.

Ryan
>>144184563

Yeah I think César might have meant just a playthrough. :)

Bells
>>144050660

The beauty of Gintama is it works whether or not you get all the references. But seeing if he can identify them would be fun!

AHH im dying

Oshi No Ko is a show i think you would really enjoy!

Tristan

Golden Kamuy - Shockingly brutal but also strangely wholesome without loss of tonal consistency. Excellent humor and plotting, with a historical bent. The characters are very endearing despite largely ranging from morally grey to outright insane. Interesting discussions on the themes of violence are sure to abound. Will definitely provoke some entertaining reactions from an animal lover. Sonny Boy - Mystifying and existential. Deeply philosophical with plenty of layers to pick apart, with a presentation that is fascinatingly abstract. Has an identity and soul to it that is as difficult to articulate as it is to forget. Strikingly beautiful visuals and music. The complete story is only 12 episodes. Gurren Lagann - Fun and very manly adventure that focuses on an extremely positive and inspiring message. Simple on the surface, but full of surprising subtleties for perceptive audience members. Directed at the youngest demographic of any on this list, but the feelings of infinite possibility conveyed thereby seem to be even better appreciated by adults. World Trigger - One of the peaks of the genre, combining many of the best elements of sports and action Shonen, while diverging satisfyingly from typical tropes. Has literal scores of characters that are intelligent, skilled, and well adjusted, with social lives and motivations well outside those of the central cast. Doesn't wear its philosophy on its sleeve, but there are countless nuggets of wisdom that can be gleaned from studying its themes, particularly in relation to professional pursuits. Power system is simple to grasp and flexible, with a huge emphasis on sound strategy over plot convenient power ups. I should mention that while it's difficult to predict what will resonate emotionally, and these all have good potential depending on your circumstance, none can really be called tearjerkers. I recognize none of these are likely to win a poll anytime soon, but I will continue trying to put them on your radar.

Marko
>>144062351

One can dream, I think some romance anime would be nice :) there are some nice seasonal romances now as well

Ian

Mushoku tensei is good, but it’s pretty similar thematically to Re:Zero so maybe something to watch later down the road. If you liked Haikyu then Blue Lock could be fun, since it takes similar themes and goes a completely opposite direction.

Jasmine Tea Enjoyer
>>144552032

Re Zero is fun but Mushoku Tensei is the Grandfather of all Isekai and has a way better production (at least for Season 1)

Musicisum

Wait, I just remembered Blue Eye Samurai exists... Blue Eye Samurai 👀

bl0odm1st

Seasons 4,5, & 6 of The Dragon Prince are also out there now. Always feel the need to mention it since it’s how I found your channel.

bl0odm1st
>>144700372

This would be the perfect choice akin to Arcane or Cyberpunk Edge-runners.

Jo

Blue Eye Samurai. It's 8 Episodes of something amazing. That psychological minefield of motivation and actions. Plus, I bet I already know who your favourite character would be. Love to know if I'm right.

Emil Krautwald

I would love to get your reactions, but more importantly thoughts on Gurren Lagann
