The unsung hero this episode is Melody, who sensed that a great power had been unleashed. Also, unrelated, but it's frightening to hear about people I respect almost getting scammed. It's a comfortable lie to think that it could never happen.

it’s pretty interesting because our ideas of ging were colored by gon’s idealistic perception of him. honestly, ging is probably my favorite aspect of this arc (among many). he’s still cooking, but he is one of my top 3 characters in the series.

The scene when nanika ask for gon hands gets me everytime, Killua reaction is so real, also i don't hate Pariston too for sure he has evil plans in mind but even so you can respect the guy for how competent he is and the way that he based everything beliving on ging is a nice twist too.

Ging got caught in his own plan, he basically wrapped himself with a bow for Gon here thanks to Netero and Pariston, the Quimera ants and his own disciples. The world helped Gon to Hunt Ging.

I think they don’t want Gon to know that Killua saved him because they don’t want to risk Gon finding out about how many people died just to get Alluka to the hospital - Gotoh, needlemen, bunch of Hunters - and they don’t want Gon to feel guilty about that

Finally got a chance to catch up on the last few videos, and I think this might be my favorite reaction I’ve watched of this arc. Despite there being many things not finished in the anime, (or even finished at all) I feel this arc does a fantastic job given the circumstances. We get to have amazing new characters like Pariston introduced, as well as a return to so many old ones, all in the span of 12 episodes. I’m gonna have to start typing out my thoughts on the series as a whole soon, so expect a wall of text on 148, if I can organize my thoughts well enough to be bearable to read.
