I can tell the dub isn't bad, but I don't think I can do it after starting it in subbed

bl0odm1st

Checking out the dub in your reactions after watching in sun on my own lets me watch both so I’m cool with whatever.

PKKite

Yeah I like the dub (Rita Repulsa the og power rangers villian is the va for the turbo granny)

tanasia

“how do we explain this to our parents? we sleep together now” 😭😭😭

Douglas Davis

Only seen what you have seen but i think she banned his name because it was the same name as her crush and she doesn't like cheaters because her boyfriend on the first episode cheated.

And.... the fun is over lol. The voice acting is one of my favorite parts of this show so far, the two main characters dynamic kinda hinges on the over the top performences in Japanese for me at least. Was really looking forward to this, but it's my own fault for having such strict preferences. Sad.

Michael Philliber

this dub is really solid. ive even seen people on the subreddit for this manga say the dub usualy has translations that match the translated dub more than the sub does

Dutchy

wow I absolutely love Okarun's transformed voice in the dub, he's so unbothered by everything lmfao. Also Momo's voice delivery is super natural too, honestly the dub voices fit super well

Warmlights

i enjoyed the dub!! you’re one of the few reactors that always give the dub a try. thanks for reacting!

Chris Sharpe

living up to his name, okarun is now actually like a ken doll.

dg_2drunk

oh boy dandadan upload. aaaaaaaaaaaand it's dub skullemoji.jpg

RichiPete

Yes, I'm so glad you mentioned that their dynamic is amazing. It's honestly the best part of the entire story, watching it develop is so fun

bro got the alex cut

madgod

All the dub complainers are cringe, keep watching the dub bro, don't succumb to the pressure!

BRus019

I switched from sub to dub in ep 2 too it's so good

Donovan Brown

If you’re taking votes I’m voting sub. The sound mix is made for the Japanese voices, and this anime is 99% carried by the vibe. Also Ken calls her ugly in the sub instead of calling her a bitch, that is a wild change.

Seth

Personally I pick sub, but I think One Punch Man is way better in dub like way better

Aidan Pullen

I'm enjoying both dub and sub. But I think I'd prefer sub in general since it's the original intended experience

I was caught off guard by that too haha, and he says, "why were you so mad at me earlier then!" Instead of "you think I care what you think?" Or whatever he said in the dub. Weird unnecessary changes

Perchik

lol he transformed into the ken takakura

Danny

Damn i joined the patreon for this but I just don't vibe with dubs sorry. I feel jebaited 🤣 I always prefer the intended language, be it Korean, English, Japanese or Spanish i just can't watch stuff dubbed if the original is an option. Hope you switch back soon because the jp voice actors are top tier in this show.

Bro picks the most popular show of the year to die on the dub hill. You could grow the channel WAY more with the sub. I thought you were a business man Goodwin! 😂

Potato

I appreciate you discussing the intimacy/friendship/romance forming between the 2 protagonists. It is really well done and believable, despite the fact that Momo and Okarun are so different. Even though the show is about aliens and ghosts, I think their relationship development is secretly the main plot!

Laggy

The Mosquito on your head at 21:23 really bothered me lmao.

Lmao nooo I didn't even notice that. It really hung in there. Does this beat the time the spider descended from the ceiling and hung out on my shoulder?
