Peak zero day!!! And happy new years for everyone!

Rezero day! This is where the season really begins to take off. I remember watching this weekly when it was airing. Was so much fun. Also this is hilarious but the voice actors for puck and Subaru actually got married a few days ago! Emilia must be jealous 😭

Re: Zero day! Great thoughts as usual. I really love the pacing and feel of this episode. Lots of intrigue, character building, and mysteries to solve. Love the scene at the beginning with Echidna and the questions she raised, and I also love Subarus answer, showcasing the truth and flaws in both of their conclusions. I loved reading her dialogue in the novels, and her VA is just excellent. She’s in one breath super shady and scary, but then in the next seductive and charming. I absolutely adore every single scene that Roswaal is in, he’s just a fantastic characters. I liked your thoughts on how Subaru is sort of doing something similar to Roswaal, even if it’s unconscious. There’s a lot of scenarios in this episode that have nuanced answers, with different perspectives on how to handle it. But yeah, lots of setup and new questions. Loved some of the smaller stuff, like how Ram is clearly watching out for Subaru and really cares about him, despite her attitude. Also Garf is great, him liking Ram is super relatable. Me too bro. Glad Otto is easing his way into your good graces as well lmao. And Elsa is back. Super excited for the next one!

Lmao poor Emila, struggles with the trial then loses the love of her life. Can something go her way for once? xD

Briefly, just for Mjw's sake: "Echidna" is e-kid-na. ( /əˈkɪdnʌ/ ) (Patrasche is also just "pah + trash", but one the Witch of Greed features more prominently in S2)

Happy New Year and best wishes for 2025! (My comment for the episode: I really struggle with this idea that Subaru can 1) care deeply for Emilia, but 2) not care to ask how she really feels, or what she's doing. Like, am I imposing my own behavior on other people, or is it unrealistic for someone to both feel deep affection for someone and not at least ask what the person thinks and feels?)

Happy New Year to all.

Happy new year! Yeah feels like there's a divide here still. Emilia comes out emotionally broken and Subaru is like, well, I'll leave you to that! See ya!

I just have to clarify this — His Mom wasn't the one who said that *only* the end matter! That was Subarus takeaway from her words, which she even turned down by saying that that wasn't the point, but he has to figure out himself what she did mean by what she said.

Happy New Year! I think it’s both — There is definitely still a disconnect with Subaru putting Emilia on some kind of pedestal, but I also think he can still deeply care for her at the same time. It's just that, because he internally put her on this pedestal, that he like doesn't recognize he should ask and potentially talk about what happened and so on. — Well, that's my opinion and reading of it atleast
