Idk why but this has always been a memorable episode to me whenever I think about this anime the pole topping is always one of the first things I think of

I think this is one of my favorite episodes so far. it's got layered and interwoven themes through multiple characters, explored through this awesome game that somehow I didn't know was real. It's also absurd in all the right ways

I’m gonna be completely honest the only reason I think about this episode is because I think the pole topping game is cool🤣 i never once thought about the meaning and nuances of it and that is probably because I was like 13 when I first watch this but ever since i started watching you watching anime’s I’ve seen I’ve started to look at things in life in a more philosophical view I guess and it’s made me appreciate a lot more things and show and also hate a lot over others things in some

It is funny how low the stakes are in these challenges compared to the world maybe blowing up. But yes I do agree there is a higher game here to character development. Even if the children get the reward money and "win" all these expirences can only enrich their lives.

Yeah I didn’t even know it was real till you pulled up the footage at the end but it looks like a super fun game to play and watch as well
