I definitely didn't refresh every minute.

Condemned_Milk

This episode isn’t the best, but the next two are nucktuckety

joe martin

not a big fan of amnesia as a plot device either but trust me it serves a great purpose here

Brandon Golpe

The amnesia in this honestly works well so I can’t wait for the next episode!

Cody Taylor

Thanks for keeping me up i can now rest ❤️ can't wait for the next episode some of my favorite from korra all together

Neth110

Oh man I cannot WAIT for the next episode. My personal favorites from the entire series

Joqu

Yeah I get the apprehension but I promise they do something good with the amnesia, don't worry!

Chess Red Eagle

Amnesia is definitely overused and it is a criticism of this season but man, the next two episodes make it so worth it. Can't wait for the reaction. And yeah, Varrick is diabolical. But we still Stan. I can't stay mad at that face.

FlatOutBoy

Ooh) everyone's excited for the next 2 episodes 😂 I'm gonna save my thoughts on it for.. After the season) otherwise it can get a little spoiler heavy! I wanna see if you are gonna pick up on it! Great reaction as always!

SupremeCai

As a Psychology student, I agree, the amnesia trope is wayyyy too overused and usually incorrectly as well lol However, the next two episodes are considered all time Korra or even Avatar favourites for some people. So I think they get a pass for now xD Also, the next two are so lore packed/connected with each other, I would definitely recommend doing a two-part reaction if possible to get a complete scope and understanding of it. I cannot wait to see your thoughts about them. But understandable if not, I don't remember how you have done multi parts before. P.S. I'm happy to see how much the Goodwin fam has grown over here on Patreon :D So happy for you!

Thanks :) I'm definitely watching them back to back, though they will probably be separate videos. Looking forward to it!

That's good enough! As long as you get that experience as a whole as intended :3 Stay safe, can't wait for it!

James Berry

i initially thought that about the amnesia but i think they do it good. And i suppose u might forget a bit when u get ground pounded in the face by a 300 tonne spirit.

JaJa Binx

This was Nucktastic!

Spiral

So I wanted to mention how you say that Bolin is coming off as desperate since he doesn’t appropriately utilize his strengths was sharp because him growing up without parental figures and being on the streets for a while probably warped his sense of self-worth. Also his previous relationship with Eska probably really skewed his perception of relationships because notice how he's acting toward Ginger similarly like Eska was to him.

Fe

The next two episodes are my favorite episodes

ComicalSkate

The pineapple genuinely creeps me out...

Nico Salerno

Its only ending scene here but i think its cool we get to see some fire sages again. In Atla we only saw them briefly when roku burned down the fire sage temple. Im glad their order is still around.

Aidan Pullen

The next two episodes are pretty divisive among lots of members of the fandom. I for one absolutely love them. Yeah amnesia is overused but it's not quite as bad a use of it as you're maybe thinking. Can't wait!

the next two episodes are my two least favorite episodes in all of ATLA and Korra. Weird.

Sam

oh no, you just armed the pineapple with a pair of scissors at the end

Rhodur

at first when i saw this i was eye-rolling at amnesia, but actually the next couple episodes aren't really as much amnesia driven as they are deep-lore driven, which i'm personally a huge fan of myself

Darby

Very interested in your thoughts on the upcoming episodes. Personally not a fan of them and the amnesia plot, for me, is very unnecessary here.

Blackeyedlily

Okay, okay enough about the show. I am worried about those scissors! You left them far too close to that strange “nobody” character. Watch your back Goodwin!😳

WHen you said like a TV show in a movie theater, what the show was really doing was ‘serials’ which were popular during the early history of movies, probably mostly in the 30s and 40s. Back then when you went to see a movie, you got to see newsreels, a cartoon and a serial among other stuff, which was basically one long adventure broken down into short sections of a few minutes each, with Flash Gordon or buck Rodgers and later Superman, Batman and captain marvel. If you didn’t want to miss a chapter, you had to come to the movies every week. Each chapter ended on a cliffhanger. Raiders of the lost arc also somewhat referenced them. I’m sure plenty of old ones are on YouTube now.
