Orhan

best season i‘m tellin you

Official Jrem

I’m happy you enjoyed season 2 and I know you’re gonna love season 3

chachin

it is the best indeed.

Kingsley

I don't know if you're a punk fan, but Zaheer's voice actor is Henry Rollins. I'm very excited for your various responses to him, as I really think he's the sort of character that offers a lot of introspection.

ssspooky

Zaheer's voice actor is Henry Rollins, former singer of the punk band Black Flag and overall interesting person. I think you'd like him too, he's been all around the world and has some very interesting things to say!

Ana Andrade

I had a feeling you would like Zaheer :) This is definitely gonna be your favorite season. There's gonna be a lot for you to discuss.

Chess Red Eagle

You're already starting to see why people Zaheer as a villain so much and it just gets better from here.

Jay Crigler

Zaheer is crazy smart and talented you'll see best villain in my opinion. every thing he says has like another level to it

Brimmy

Ayeeee stoked that u like Zaheer a lot!

Brandon Golpe

Zaheer’s quotes are going to change your life Goodwin I promise that. They are on such a deeper level than anything I’ve heard.

Juan Valencia

Oh man Zaheer is something most shows should aspire to have. Great villain.

Drake Chuckle

No catch to the airbending, the giant purple energy field that covered the planet during harmonic convergence just decided to help balance the world a bit. I guess harmonic convergence and the spirit portals being open helped to tip the scales spiritually/balance-wise.

jassihere

I’m so excited this season is amazing 😄

WolfWarrior623

Oh man the fun really begins now. Book 3 is my favorite for a lot of different reasons, not even for Zaheer, though I do love him. but it has some of my favorite characters and character moments.

Nathan K

Awmygawd the moment I've been waiting for since you finished ATLA!!! Your reaction to Zaheer was everything I hoped it would be. Not only is he a super compelling villain, he's also such a cool concept. I'm sure pretty much every Avatar fan has wondered, "What would an evil, non-pacifist airbender be like?" I also love Zaheer's interpretation of air nomad philosophy. Everything Avatar has shown us tells us that airbenders are peaceful, good people, and their teachings are inherently good. Zaheer is a great reminder that this isn't the case. Air bending philosophy is neither inherently good (like what Aang shows us) nor bad (like Zaheer will show us). Airbending philosophy is, and one doesn't need to be the most pure, good-hearted person in order to reach enlightenment.

Paul

Yes! I'm glad you liked Zaheer. One great thing to notice about him though is that he is very knowledgeable about Air Nomad culture. Although I am not sure if this is canon but I think he might have been an Air acolyte (The non benders who run the air temples after the end of the war). Another thing to notice is that his bending style is very raw and different from how Aang or Tenzin airbend, kind of like how Korra was punching and kicking Amon when she discovered that she could airbend.

Nico Salerno

Avatar universe is a world where non benders can train and become living weapons and accomplish things rivaling the strongest benders. Like tai-li or master pian dao. Now imagine one of those super weapons of a person can Airbend. Zaheer was in a super prison BEFORE he was able to bend air. What will he be able to accomplish now?

Lil Lexz

Yes this my favorite season is 3am here and California and I’m gon watch it !!!

Lil Lexz

The reason hese acting like and not living with them cz he stiill has feelings for Kora and how can u be around someone u love been threw that, that’s y hese invested in his work to get he mind off of this and wen he was acting weird with both of them well cz he was with both of them.

Lil Lexz

Big fan btw y I’ve have never got a shout-out been Patreon right wen u got it or maybe I missed it hahah

Aidan Pullen

"This video is gonna be 44 years long." That's fine, I love hearing your take on things, it's really interesting. "Oh I'm gonna like him". Yes, yes you will. He has a wealth of real good quotes. Also he's just all around rad. Can't wait to see how you react to the season as a whole!

Cody Taylor

Zaheer is definitely one of my favorite "villians" he is an extremist but i do find myself agreeing with alot of what he says

DrowsyCody

Favorite villian in the whole franchise favorite season also

Makima

Very excited. Zaheer and his posse are just really refreshing villains. They aren't these supreme evil caricatures. Really is the reason why season 3 is so well loved.

benj

Lets go!!!! This season is truly special and by far and away the highlight of The Legend Of Korra.

Blackeyedlily

You are going to like Zaheer! Honestly, I can’t wait for your reaction to the very next episode.😎

Ben Barringer

I'm so fucking ready for Goodwin Vs. Zaheer. Also, I never realized before how Zaheer basically echoes kid Bumi when he goes on about opening one's mind to the new possibilities of changing reality. Neat bit of poetry there.

Digital Milan

When Korra and Asami are driving, is that the cabbage guy on the car that almost hit them?

Darby

This season is just night and day from the last - makes you wonder what in the world happened with s2. Touching on your segment on severing the tie with her past lives - there are a few things that show the creators aren't trying to distances themselves from the original show so I believe your explanation would make more sense: Korra having to do things on her own and not rely on her past lives for guidance. Unfortunately, that's not the only consequence of severing the ties because now her avatar state shouldn't be an increase in power, technically. She has no previous lives to draw power from - they even show during beginnings that Raava gave Wan the ability to bend all 4 elements and if any boost in power, it was minor. The increase in power is now *supposed* to be gone.

James Berry

Zaheer is my lovely combination character he is like three off my alltime fabs rolled into one I'm not saying anything as I'm not going to spoil anything for you ☺

lockwould

Zaheer is one of my favorite villains and characters period. He's so much scarier than Amon and Unalaq to me. When he speaks you can tell he means exactly what he says, and somehow it's more terrifying than any lie.

Tommy Nguyen

Zaheer is such a great villain, and by far my favorite. You're going to love this season, and I'm gonna love rewatching it alongside!

Amon was great imo until the end when they destroy his character (and the season really), but Unalaq is definitely awful. Zaheer easily best Korra villian.

Kris Ivory

I find Zaheer so frightening because he's a fanatic who not only comes off as wise and reasonable, but he doesn't do it to heighten his own power, in the end. Amon and Unalaq clearly wanted the power, but Zaheer literally doesn't care if he's worshipped or not. And he believes his cause is Right and Just, making him an unreasonable reasonable man.

Zach Lenstch

Zaheer is only behind Azula for me, I find her more complex, but Zaheer has a raw charisma and world view that make him not only scary but often convincing. So excited for this season!

Zaheer isn’t even evil, he genuinely wants to help the people, he just believes the most radical extremes are the way to that prosperity. And he is too stubborn to think about other alternatives

SupremeCai

One of the best antagonists in any animation in my opinion. Love the commentary you provided just in episode 1, I knew this season was gonna be a ride xD Can't wait to see your reaction to the rest

Franchesca Giglio

Woooo great reaction . I’m glad you like zaheer so far .
