“Lin’s secret past” are you kidding me you gotta it right off the bat hahaha

DrowsyCody

Poor naga why couldn’t Lin just throw it once 🥺 I love the beifong kids wei and wing, huan, opal, bataar jr. huan is definitely my favorite followed by the twins and Opal. As much as I love kya she’s no master fighter she was trained as a master healer and is the 2nd best healer in the world. Sadly she had no chance of keeping zaheer pinned for more than a matter of seconds. Zaheer moving through the gates like a pro cause well he is a pro in the airbenders fighting style. Also his crush on guru laheama. And your crush on Varrick can finally Resume.

hays collins

“He’s uncluttered about emotion” woah wink wink

Snarfield

Mannnn you're quick. You caught on to Su being Toph's daughter faster than anyone else I've seen, haha. Also your happiness in episodes like these is contagious. Thanks for keeping up with these reactions. :)

NitrousOxide19

i personally dont agree with su as much but we'll get to that later :)

Ramon Cintron

If i could live anywhere in the world id would be Zou fu using my bending as art or dance... plus i have the hottest crush on the twins

She held her own despite that, which was impressive. She also knew immediately she was outmatched and called for help.

Same here, I finally have a more concrete answer to the question "where would you live in the Avatar universe."

Jupiterninja

Varrick's back baby!! Also more Beifongs! And a Zaheer fight! Yeah this is a good one

Joseph Hallowell

The poem he was reading was about detachment.

Cody Taylor

Dang it im always so excited to watch these then it's over 😭😭 this episode is really good the airbender poem is very beautiful and important

Rae W.

“I don’t like how you’re talking to me.” Is top tier Opal. Feminine, gentle, sure of herself and not ready to take bs.

Chess Red Eagle

Admit it, you only like the poem because it says wind instead of air. You can't fool me.

Laffencrunch

I think this is one of the best episodes of season 3. Your commentary really encapsulates my feelings about it. I'm so glad you caught on to it all so quickly.

Calvin Brindley

I know it’ll be easy to forget most of the Beifong grandkids other than Opal, but try to keep them all in mind, even Baatar Jr who you barely got to see! Just to prevent confusion later on, which has happened to some reactors I’ve seen.

Brimmy

Ur reaction to seeing Varrick was so delayed XD also i told ya the next several eps were going to be A M A Z I N G

Drake Chuckle

Bolin is gonna try to help the avatar rebuild a whole nation, personally.

Tommy Nguyen

Man, Zaheer has such good character traits.

Blackeyedlily

I was looking forward to your reacting to this episode. First off, I thought it was so smart of you way back when we first met Lin to hypothesize that Toph may have been the exact opposite of her parents in regards to parenting style. And I knew you would enjoy seeing Varrick again, especially with his existential response to “why are you here?” I love that moment with Zaheer in Tenzin’s study. When little Ikki comes in it always reminds me of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. She looks so much like Cindy Lou Who catching the Grinch in that moment. And anytime this season that Zaheer quotes Guru Laheama is a good moment to me.

jassihere

I’m excited for your reaction on the next episode. I’m gonna keep my opinion on the sisters’ beef until then but I can see a little bit of where both is coming from. 🙂

This was a great introduction to her. I like that scene and also the one where she makes an earnest attempt at getting to know Lin.

agoodwintv
>>45411356

OMG how did I not comment on that!! That's how good the poem was, I forgot to gloat.

WolfWarrior623

I have been so excited for you to get to this episode, and the next one. I knew you'd love the poem. I like a few others shall keep my opinions on the situation between Lin & Su quiet until the next episode. But I do think even in this episode people are being unfair to Lin trying to force her into a situation she's clearly uncomfortable with and just ignoring her feelings.

Thanks for the advice :) I just watched the Zaofu city segments again to make sure I have it straight.

Rachel Espiritu

Can we have a Kya appreciation moment? She kinda has middle child syndrome, same as Ikki. But we can't ignore that she is the daughter of the greatest waterbender of her time and the avatar, not to mention that she led a whole life of her own while Aang was busy with Tenzin and Bumi was with the United Forces. It shouldn't be as surprising as it is that she held her own against Zaheer.

Aidan Pullen

Let go your earthly tether. Enter the void. Empty, and become wind. Every time I hear that I get instant chills. I love the character of Guru Laghima as like a mythical figure, it adds an element of history, and mysticism to the air nomad culture. I also love the family struggles between Lyn and Suyin. I'm also 100% behind the Bolin/Opal ship :)

Specially when we add that she probably never really fought an airbender considering . Actually the advantage Zaheer have over the whole world, people have never fough or encoutered an airbender at its full - non - monk - lifestyle.

James Berry

gives me life dude. I love Kia's styles of water bending as well. Zaheer is a villain much like the joker to me. its hard to argue with him sometimes I don't agree with his actions but a scary smart and captivating guy.

Kingsley

This season is such a treat for reactions. You usually help me appreciate things that I never previously noticed in my less-liked episodes, but I love every part of this season, so it's exciting to just watch you soak it all in.

benj

This is the episode where the season goes into HYPERDRIVE. Everything's been great already, but now its just on another level. Varrick coming back and all this new Beifong stuff is perfect.

Kris Ivory

The reaction to Varrick walking in was the best thing I've ever seen. Like it took your brain a few seconds to process what was going on.

James Carswell

Ugh you upload so late!! I wait refreshing till I fall asleep haha

agoodwintv
>>45418086

Yeah, I realized that part of what I'm liking about Zaheer is not him but Guru Laghima :)

Kris Ivory

Hey, everyone! See that metal dancer on the right as the duo pose at the end? Yeeeah, you know who that is. No one say anything.

Aaron Ong

Ahhhhh I'm so excited to see your Episode 6 reaction!!!

Jose
>>45459352

Hey Kris, see that random metal bender in the newspaper that Lin was reading? Yeah, I’m pretty sure you know who that is as well lol

Jose
>>45422293

I love whenever Kya is fighting. I just find it so fascinating when she uses her bending.

Jose

Great Reaction! Also, is no one gonna talk how Zaofu’s domes is literally inspired by a lotus flower? I thought that was a really cool design.

Fane Alexander

I love your love for Varrick haha he's too fun
