I'm sure the reaction will be good, but I wanted to let you know. Next episode will be a.... different kind of episode. I've said it before, but the reason it exists is because Nickelodeon once again screwed over the creators on this show and cut the budget. So their options were making the episode you'll see tomorrow, or fire several members of their team, which is ridiculous. So just.... have fun with it is all, which I'm sure you will just as you do every time you watch a show.😁

Ok for all ya'll commenters that think youre slick.. please be subtle.

Varrick is amazing lmao. Definitely top tier.

R'Mani Leavell

Varrick made those machines not Asami

newairnation

Did you notice that Korra blushed after Asami complimented her hair

hays collins

"Right this is the earth kingdom where paperwork reigns supereme" Did you get that impression partly from the kyoshi novel haha

Zach Lenstch

12:55 The moment you see all the nice and positive things Goodwin has said about Kuvira flash before his eyes. Lmao

Elijah baker

Wu and mako are my favorite avatar universe couple 💖

Rose Rivers

Baraz is voiced by the Amon actor and i just found out lmao

Megan

I love this episode. Thoughts on Korra’s new outfit? I think it’s my favorite.

Ik im not the one youre asking but she looks sooo good. They did her so right with the new haircut and fit

hays collins

Even if the next episode is a clip show which sucks. The episode after that will be your favorite of this season and thats a promise!!! Like theirs no doubt

Dierane

The fact that Varrick made an EMP on the fly... I need a Varrick and Asami battle of the geniuses

Dierane

Poor Mako was a bit out of the loop during that whole car chase scene

Awesome. I can tolerate an "off" episode given that the series has delivered so well.

DrowsyCody

Nice seeing asami sporting a brand new blue car after all these years apart instead of her old black and red one

Heads up Goodwin next episode is a clip episode but there’s some really interesting backstory as to why... Halfway through they airing of season 3 Nickelodeon pulled Korra of the air and put it solely online on there website. I’m not sure what happened but during production of season 4 Nick cut Korras budget. Nickelodeon told Mike and Bryan that they need to let go of half there animation team to make up for the budget cut but they refused so instead of firing half their team they pulled a kuvira childhood backstory episode and put a clip recap episode so they could scrape by on the budget and keep all their team employed. :)

Damn i didn't know all the back story to this and am really upset we didn't get a kuvira back story episode 😭😭

Blackeyedlily

Just a couple of minor observations. I loved the traditional action sequence of a fight on the top of a train. And I enjoyed how one of the firebender refugees looked just like Avatar Wan.

benj

Legendary episode right here. Bolin/Varrick duo scenes in Season Two and Season Four are easily the best written scenes for both characters imo. Such an under rated team.

If i remember correctly him and the water bender were the original designs for mako and korra

Alexander Ortega

Such great reactions bro. Always enjoy getting out of work to relax and watch you videos!

jassihere

Fun fact the water bender and fire bender are early character designs for Mako and Korra. Also we’re almost to one of my favorite episodes of the season. Iykyk 🙃

Jose

Fun fact: That firebender with the Wan-like hair is voiced by Steve Plum the same voice actor who voiced Amon. And as always, great reaction! I love the constant daily upload during the week. It must be kinda hard to catch up with the uploads after editing so much I assume lol but anyways looking forward to the next reaction!

Plus, it is nice seeing her again with her equalist glove. She has some good moves. Gotta give her credit for that.

WolfWarrior623

This is a good episode, some cool things in there, both on Bolin & Varrick's side of things and Korra's. Now Kuvira's gone full villain too. I'm actually looking forward to episode 8. I recently rewatched it when watching the series and it honestly was not as bad as I remembered. I think the way they handled it was honestly pretty cool for a clipshow and I look forward to seeing your thoughts on it.

Edwin Bertilsson

I'm kinda dissapointed that noone is noticing the blush on Korra when she's talking to Assami and she's always helping her and not Mako

Nico Salerno

Kuvira is straight up hitler vibes with the if you arent aryan/earth kingdom blood, Get sent to the camps

Oh believe me there's quite a few of us that notice, we're just letting things play out.

The Earth Empire Suits were designed by Varrick. In episode 5 when him, Bolin, and Zhu Li try to escape, Varrick cannot operate the suit and he says out loud, "what idiot designed these things," and Zhu Li says " You sir!"

Dothral_Joes

Varrick might have gotten the idea of a suit from Future Industries but he might have altered some of the features. For example the Future industries MechaTanks have tank rollers at the bottom but Varrick, in his design took out the tank rollers at the bottom and gave the suits legs and he gave the suits a flamethrower that the MechaTanks did not have. There were some overlap features in both Mecha Suits but Varrick design the Earth Empire ones that are slightly different from the Future Indunstries MechaTanks.
