A new adventure! Woohooo! :)

William Abbott

I haven't seen it yet, heard good things let us see.

Nick

And so it begins. By the way, a lot of people dislike the animation stutteriness of season 1, it definitely gets better later on

I had a friend say he stopped watching because of it. I did notice that but it doesn't bother me at all.

Bryce Johnson

Fun Fact: If you notice what Claudia is reading in the Courtyard, it's "Love Amongst the Dragons", the same title of the play that Zuko said the Ember Island Players butchered every year. :)

Max Pickartz

The Narrator in the beginning has the same voice actor as Koh the Facestealer

Ana Andrade

I think it's gonna be interesting seeing you react to a show that hasn't finished telling its story. There's supposed to be 4 more seasons after season 3 for a total of 7

Aidan Pullen

Yay I'm so excited!!! Two more of my favorite shows coming up! I think you'll really like the lore/magic that shows up, it's super neat. Getting past Jack deSena's voice takes a bit of effort, but all in all is a great show. Though it's a bit more obviously a show meant for kids (similar to the vibe of Avatar S1).

Yeah I'm actually looking forward to that because I can speculate along with everyone else once I catch up.

I really enjoyed the first two episodes. Looking forward to catching up to where the series is now :)

Drake Chuckle

Is black magic -> dark magic gonna be the new windbending - airbending? Lol, I jest.

Grace Lee

I watched the first ep of this a while ago with my family, but we never got around to continuing it. So now I guess I'll be watching it with you!

Franchesca Giglio

I love this show !! I'm so glad you are watching it and yes the animation gets a lot better!

benj

TDP is sooooooo good and the Saga being confirmed now only makes me love the first 3 seasons more. 4 more TDP seasons are coming!!

Zach Lenstch

The dragon got what was coming, they pushed the humans off their own land and force marched them across the continent, because 1 guy did something they didn't like.

I think of it this way: every frame is gorgeous, but there aren't very many of them

Cody Taylor

Claudias voice actress sounds like korras mom a little bit maybe that's why it sounded familiar but they aren't the same person

I mean, they still used Dark Magic to slay the King Dragon, showcasing their willingness to use Dark Magic anyways.

James Carswell

I’m not sure but off first impression the voice actor of the princes crush sounds a lot like Aangs daughter

Purple Dawn

I thought fmab was today

SupremeCai

Jesus christ, this show is gonna drag so long.....Atla + Korra length in one lol Can't wait for FMAB but hopefully rewatching this with you will give it another chance for me xD

Elijah baker

Yeah I am certain the voice actress played kya in legend of korra

Neth110

Been curious about this show, so I just watched the first episode when I saw this was uploaded. Guess I'll be watching along with you for this one

It's not, it's someone much younger, I don't know who. I know that at least because Kya's voice actress was a main character on House so I'm positive it's not her.

Ruma Risto

Soren is such a lovable character. Even though I don't normally like the strong and handsome but dumb teenager trope, Soren really grew on me.

Snarfield

The choppier animation does take some getting used to, especially fresh off the heels of ATLA & Korra. But the art style is gorgeous!

MrEvers

I like TDP, and I'll watch the next book when it comes out, but I do have my issues with it, mostly in pacing, and in balancing the silly kid-friendly goofiness and the more serious parts. For me it hasn't grabbed me like Avatar/Korra or Adventure Time.

Edwin Bertilsson

The choppier animation gets better for season 2

Blackeyedlily

In your review/overview of Korra, when commenting on the romance in the show, you said how it is typically one of your least favorite parts of a story. I almost said something then, but I’ll say it now. In light of that, it’s amusing that you always pick up on a character’s crush as soon as there’s any hint of it in the story. 😂 I look forward to re-watching this with you. I’ve only wwatched this series once, as opposed to the many times I have watched ATLA. I’m curious when the next season is scheduled to drop.

Lol that is true! You know... thinking about it some more right now, I think for some reason I enjoy relationship dynamics more when they're really awkward or hopeless. It's funny and relatable to me cause I spent a lot of time in that hopeless state 😂

Karen Chavez

OMG I want to make a comment about Soren, but is there even a spoiler tag on patreon?

Nick Deano

SOOO excited to finally watch this along with you. it'lll be weird watching your reaction along with my own since i haven't seen dragon prince yet, should be fun.

Katherinne Heller

jajjaja ahh Love Amongst the Dragons, I saw that!

DrowsyCody

I just binged so I can watch these now
