Learning is all about taking baby steps. And for Deku, he literally doesn't know he can step using his legs.

Joel S

Wait....my legs have the same power as my arms (:0)

Francesca White

idk if you're keeping it a surprise until tomorrow but i'm DYING to know the new series lol, tbh though i'll be happy with whatever you choose, the suspense is just killing me lol

themightyabe

Not sure if you know, but Deku's costume is basically a bunny rabbit. So now that he uses his legs, he's adopted that persona even more.

Ned

I used to hate when I was late to class and some girl would just explode and end up with her boobs in my face.

DreadPirateJ914

"they're not just in it for fame" dude... sometimes you say things and you just have no clue how much more right you are than you think

With the introduction of this intro I'd like to point out a fun story parallel: The intros showcase Deku's place as a hero. In the first intro All Might is basically like the sun, something that Deku is reaching towards but they are never actually in the same frame together. Always alternating between him and All Might, with All Might not even really acknowledging Deku's existance. The first outro is related, Deku is running after a star in the night sky that is impossibly far away. In the second intro All Might is jump flying far, far away through a city skyline but he and Deku can now be seen in the same frame, the goal of becoming the Number One Hero is tangible but far away. Deku smiling, filled with hope at finally having power with his goal on the horizon. The third intro: Deku stands and All Might joins him, they join hands finally coming together. Almost on equal footing. Deku showcases Full Cowling, advancing several paces with his internship. The fourth intro (which is one of my personal favorites) shows All Might and Deku at the beginning sitting on the same bench, pretty much at the same level metaphorically. But by the end Deku stands through the dust in front of All Might gradually taking over that role. And that brings us, sadly, to the current intro introduced in this episode: Where All Might's muscle form hand pushes Deku forward, encouraging him to move on without him and cutting to his Small Might form, showing he can no longer be the hero he once was. Such small little details in what are essentially mini music videos that preface the show, I enjoy little things like this.

Kelsey Roberts

It's something everyone says. Poor Deku is so in his own head he forgets his other set of limbs can also do smashy-things. God bless our poor Broccoli Head Boi.

Nathan

Everyone else always guesses the kicking, but I was super surprised by it...anyway, breakthroughs always seem obvious in hindsight, don't they?

Brimmy

Favorite OP time? Favorite OP time :3 Hatsume is an idiot i love her to pieces my face hurts from smiling so much Just use ur legs 4head duhhhh lmao XD why does this make me so deliriously happy? normally when i watch anime i skip the OP and ED but cuz i love the shit out of MHA i've watched them so between this one and the theater dragon one from S2??? they are my favs (i say this despite not being able to remember Season 4's XD)

Joel S

BOOBIES...I mean BABIES!!!

Nick

Oh right I've actually been saving this comment! I should have posted this instead. This ED is a really cool callback to the ending sequence of season 1, where Deku is running alone but tripping a bit. And here in season 3 part 2, he's found his footing more and is running while thinking of the people that have supported him. If you go back and rewatch the first ending sequence for the show and compare it to this one, it's really interesting.

Skyler Anderson

God I just love the meme that this entire episode was Deku discovering that he has legs LOL. Great reaction as always btw <3

That was the hardest part of high school for me to get used to. All the accidental boob in your face moments.

kingafreund

I find it sort of refreshing that you can't help but keep rooting for Mineta.

Sage

Midoria: Wait I have legs! Midoria's legs: Oh no

benj

Invisible Girl catching strays in the video description oh nooooo. Stop Goodwin, she's already dead! lmfao

You say that like it's not the case that nearly every reactor I see thinks Mineta is the funniest guy since Carlin. Though, I guess it's true they aren't really rooting for him to "get better", and in fact, don't want him to change at all.

jdthebud

I really like Mei, she's nuts but in such a wholesome way.

edit: eh, probably considered spoilers. I hope you manage to maintain interest in the series going forward!

Jay Crigler

Who's polluting the beaches? Who else the villains duh lol

Vinicius Colucci

-> new op full of foreshadow imagery -> proceeds to imagine how it would be to have a relationship with aizawa lol and that’s why i’m a patreon

Aidan Pullen

S3 OP1 is the best MHA opening hands down. Nobody can convince me otherwise. It will be missed.

Anna Lena Ciplajevs

Deku: wait, I have more bones that I can break! Legs exist!!

Anna Lena Ciplajevs

My mans is constructing and entire Aizawa/reader fanfiction in his head xD

Nick

Well if I'm not mistaken, he's mentioned wanting to possibly write a book before... Maybe the goal is just aizawa fanfiction now. Ngl, a true goal to aim for.

JDalsing

Wait... he can kickkkk?!?!?

Gabriel Ribeiro

All I can imagine is the author going on his own training to come up with special moves for everybody

ComicalSkate

Am I the only one who absolutely loves Mei? She's like one of my favourite characters, despite how little she appears in the show. She's a special kind of crazy that I just adore.

benj
>>66010833

she's an under rated canditdate for best girl in this show

I think it's amazing until the chorus. Which is very sad for me because it's such a great song

bl0odm1st

The little for this is strong Red Swan vibes from AoT

Stephen

power loader is one of the teachers that ida and tailman fought in the finals end of season 2

benj

idk why but i find it oddly satisfying watching Deku and co walking in the ED, i just like the art style and walk cant really put a finger on why i like it so much but i do
