Merry Christmas! Or belated Christmas. So the schedule got a little messed up but here is MHA, Fruits Basket is in an hour or so, and definitely To Your Eternity tomorrow, and HOPEFULLY the MHA movie as well :D Hope you all had a wonderful day!

I will officially stop watching My Hero Academia at this very moment if Hawks actually kills Best Jeanist after the scene cuts away, like he was JUST recovering from the AFO fight. Pack your bags kids, time to find a new shounen.

Matthew Richson

Ah yes, I still remember how many eyebrows got raised when the fandom realized what was going on here. Switching the flow of the story. It was interesting to see how split the two sides of the fandom were.

The Best Jeanist drama and your reactions to it at the beginning had/has me choking of laughter. My family is *C O N C E R N E D*

Oh! Just realized we'll get Goodwin's reactions to TWO new openings today! Merry Christmas indeed

Merry Christmas Alex! I'm having the same feeling, I just finished this season and I just need the next one right now! Can't wait to see your reactions and commentary to the end of season 5.

Merry Christmas! I'm curious to see how you'll find the second half. By now, you've probably been informed that they switched around the two upcoming arcs, and while I can kinda see why they would, I honestly don't think it works as well. As someone who read the manga first, it just feels wrong to me, but I'd like to get your perspective as an anime only, like, if things are confusing or if you can follow just fine, that sorta thing. But I recommend you read this whole part once you're done, coz there's def stuff falling through the cracks in the anime. So if you want the full picture... yeah, but more on that as it comes up, I guess.

"You're a duo and you love each other" I'm so glad you accept the enlightened path, the truth of Endhawks :'D

@23:06 “MORE. MORE! TURN THE PAGE NUMBERS UP EVEN HIGHER!” Lmao Also fun fact: this season’s 2nd half’s ending was originally supposed to be mostly about shiguraki and deku but when the production committee saw the first draft that the studio had put together, they deemed it too dark for this series that so many kids watch. So that’s why this new ending feels a lot more just like a bunch of related characters and imagery spliced together, rather than any kind of fun goofy ideas or deeper narrative to it. The studio had to scrap all their original concepts and work on the first idea, and then rush this new version together later

Lyra Paradox

So fun fact, this new ending song was written about Shigaraki and Deku’s relationship, but it also works for hawks and endeavor’s as well.

yeah this made me sad cause i would've loved to see the original draft. Kinda funny that they keep this "it can't be dark" idea when the show already has been super dark and just continues down that path.

I want someone to look at me the same way Alex looked when he saw Jeanist in this episode.

I don't know what exactly the books says, but is something on the lines that everyone should be free to use their own quirks, i think is kinda like anarchism, where the people itself have the power
