SIX ARMPITS Huge double fangs, vertical pupils, fit body, bulging muscles on-demand, 3 pairs of arms, likes playing with balls. And people tell me perfection doesn’t exist.

I kind of forget about this arc whenever I think of season 1. But I think it sets up a lot of stakes and really shows what Tanjiro and Nezuko are willing to do for their first allies along their journey. I always liked a villainous organization with a number in their name, and the Twelve Kizuki "Blood Moons" are yet another fun group to add to the list!

Yeah I forgot a lot about this arc as well even though its very essential. Honestly the best part about this reaction series is getting to rewatch parts of Demon Slayer I haven’t revisited since first watching. Its still fresh to me so watching this again is insanely fun especially with how great Goodwin’s reactions have been so far.

Just wanna say these Demon Slayer uploads are lowkey the highlight of my day sometimes. Its been awhile since I’ve been this excited for new reactions, maybe since the ATLA rewatch honestly. This show is just so good and just like with MHA you offer a very unique perspective on this battle shounen that others just don’t even attempt to give.

Yeah the 2 ways to kill demons are sunlight and decapitation with the special demon slayer swords. so Nezuko has nothing to worry about most fights, tho it'd be pretty hard to see her get seriously hurt even if she can heal

The reactions are my nightly wind-down ritual. Solid shows paired with some insightful commentary stemming out of the show into real-life-application. Can't beat it... well, you can, but clubbing's expensive.

Nezuko's VA really earning that paycheck with this episode

Just a heads up, "juunikizuki" will never again be translated to "Twelve Blood Moons" after this episode. From the next episode onwards, it will be half-translated as "Twelve Kizuki" instead.

This is why I was confused reading Twelve Blood Moons. God the power scaling in this show is so good. Its probably my favorite power scaling system in any battle shounen.

"It's like Blitz Ball, but not underwater," "Don't worry about me or this guy's lifeless body. We'll be alright," "It's a *metaphor*," "He can't hear you. He's missing a few things that are essential to the hearing process," "This is going to be an interesting diary entry tonight," (Yay! Goodwin kept his word and brought it back the next episode lol) "Does she have more ~balls~? Yep," "You don't need to tell Nezuko to kill twice," "And Tanjiro and his kawaii sister," "Even no-ankles demon? He was pretty formidable. He killed a lot of kids," "Oh wow, just cancelled your instinct," "Well that was a great success, we didn't get smushed," "Dear Diary: Today I bathed in the blood of Lady Tamayo's enemies," "There's a secret in the eyeballs," "She lost her leg; that's very insensitive," "That dialogue though, 'MMMMmmMMM',"
