Absolutely can’t wait for you to get deeper into the show and really get to sink your teeth into the character analysis

Early upload?? Praise the sun!

benj

Unrelated but any idea when AoT will drop? No problem with waiting but it almost seems like you forgot or something lmao.

Haha yeah I wanted to have it up earlier but... It's actually done I just haven't had a chance to export and upload it yet. I will do that in the next 24 hours

Keegan Brakhage

fun fact the entire outro and certain shots (like the last words of the pervert spirit) are animated using paint on glass which is incredibly tine consuming. pretty sure mob psycho is the first anime to use that technique.

benj

The midcards for this season are very average/below average in my opinion compared to other animes... Season Two Mob's midcards are probably the BEST midcards I have ever seen in anime, so so good.

Nick

AH I'm not used to the new upload time yet shit. Well I'll watch it first then give my comments

Same, the notification on my phone has shocked the hell out of me two days in a row now. I see the upload post notif and I'm just like, "huh?" lmao

This episode gave me a flashback to my middle school year, when i first discovered that i want to be an illustrator. Not a very good time since my parents are those typical parents who decide their child's future. But after a very long story, now i got my dream job

Chris Sharpe

Again, watching the show concurrently with Alex. Reigen has an amazing silver tongue, to where everything he says sounds beneficial and awesome. Can you seriously think of another character that can convince someone that working for him at about a third of the Japanese minimum wage is actually beneficial?

Jake White

Nah, there isn’t really any sort of back story for how Mob got so strong or good with his powers. That’s not really the point of this series. In most shows you’d definitely get that focus and understanding of how hard the MC worked to get where they are; in this case it’s treated more like, “in a world where people are born with supernatural abilities, it only makes sense for someone to be born with the strongest of those abilities. Let’s follow that character and show their perspective/problems/growth/etc. instead.”

That's awesome. I feel like that's a rare kind of story where it actually goes that way. I don't know many people who went from childhood dream to actual execution

"OH BOY DOES IT," "That's my hobby! Playing Nintendo with one hand, stuffing my face with the other," "I'm having flashbacks right now," (Can't believe I JUST realized, but we've got a simp character-I use that term endearingly-in both series right now. Zenitsu for Nezuko-and a lot of other women but that's besides the point- and Mob for Tsubomi. I can't wait for Goodwin's tales of romance and crushes) "There's plenty of time to be heartbroken over women," "Anything becomes easy with enough time," "Are you guys ready to COUNT?" "It's not that much a of a stretch to believe that web porn could be a curse," "There's this girl in my class who does NOT look like a cookie or bell pepper," "So many testicle-like appendages in this show," "And she said 'Why would you do that? Don't you realize that you'll never amount to anything?' And she was right," "This girl's got the right idea! But no. Unless you like testicle chins," (Please, someone show this man a picture of Riki Nendo from Saiki K) "It's a mistake to think that any one element of life is going to define who you are and give you value once and for all time," "Seeing through things is its own reward on a personal level," (Me when I caught up to One Piece in 3 months out of pure spite lmao) "I'm curious what this midcard is. Am I supposed to play rock-paper-scissors with it? I'll do that next time," "Rooves are like alleyways, in the sense that they are mythical locations in anime," "To make a choice is to sacrifice all other choices in that moment," "Your gifts are only as special as they allow you to date. Unfortunately," IT'S SO LONG I'M SORRY I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH

Skyler Anderson

I feel like this episode specifically relates to me and hits me because still at this point in my life (22) I feel like I'm asking myself in the my head still what do I want to do with my life despite having a full time job as a software engineer and having a girlfriend of 4 years. I feel like it's hard to really find that start of what you really love doing later in life when you have less time and feel more comfort doing nothing in the times I'm not working. Mob relates to me in several other ways I feel but I'll wait until more episodes pass to put my two cents in on some more aspects of his character.
