I heard someone say once that Truth is closer to myster/unknown more so than reason. The talk about 'unknown holding magic' just reminded me of that.

AryTheDog

so excited for you to see more of killua, he's like my favourite character in the show

Emman Reed

wow wow gimme more haha!

Ruma Risto

I'm loving these reactions so much!

Oh my god there’s so many things I’d love to say with all your predictions and comments but most of them would be spoilers, although Spy X Family has definitely been inspired by HxH a couple times, down to the same shot composition

macrowave

Also I’m glad you easily figured out that Killua couldn’t have killed Netero even though he told himself that. I’ve seen quite a few reactors take what Killua thought as fact, and then their ideas for power scaling characters in this first arc are so skewed the entire time

Ryan

I think I'm going to just hold off on the title puns until there's one that's at least vaguely interesting, haha. But with what you were saying about the unknown having power, the word for unknown in Japanese is 未知 'michi,' which happens to be pronounced the same way as the word for "the way / the path" 道 (also the 'do' in words like 'kendo,' 'judo,' 'bushido,' etc.) Can't really respond to anything else you said without spoilers, but looking forward to it.

But killua didnt kill those 2 people right?

Naw lol he hasn’t had enough time to mature and grow out of the worldview his parents raised him with yet. So he’s not quite that lenient just yet lol

The number of applicants went from 44 to 42... so... they out of the fight at least

Oak

You mentioning Spy X Family has made me think about certain times later on where you'll go, "ah, so that's where they got it from". More so than getting to learn about Killua, I think this episode does an even better job of showing the difference in mindsets between our boys. I think you hit the nail on the head discussing it, and I can't wait for you to see where it all leads.

Yeah sometimes you don’t expect someone to just get so brutally murked in such a seemly lighthearted show.

Chris Sharpe

Geez, definitely had hold my breath hearing a couple of your predictions.

Quade Hudson

Killua and Gon's relationship is quite frankly one of my favorite aspects of any anime ever.

Meia-noite

Bro, your reaction to this series is gold.

I am constantly reminded why I follow you as my favourite content creator (tho I didn't see a lot of videos lately since they were series I had not seen yet). You are, as usual, snap-identifying characteristics and problems with character traits that might be important in the future (casual murder non-withstanding).
