Gumdrop Gators (Patreon)

Appearance: Gumdrop Gators are bright and colorful alligator species. They often walk on their hind legs but crawl when they need to. Males have broader shoulders while females have wider hips, even so, without seeing genitals it can still be difficult to tell their gender. They can come in a variety of colors but are most often similar in tone across their body except for their gumdrop ridged back which can be a wildly different color than the rest of them. Many gators have patterns on their scales, but some may be plain. Their eyes are bright and multicolored. Their Iris matches their gumdrop color.

Average life span: 60~100

Intelligence: Average intelligence.

Magic: Little to no magical ability outside potion making, which they excel at.

Culture: Gumdrop Gators can be found living independently in swamps, or sometimes in large groups. Few will live in the cities of other species. Independent gators wear little clothing, often rags they find around their home. More social gators will purchase or make fancier clothing for themselves. In larger groups it is common for gumdrop gators to favor fashion trends and try to show off their clothing or jewelry as a status symbol.
