For those of you who don't follow me on Twitter, I'm in a pretty bad place right now. My mental health is low and my motivation to write is non existent. Everything I write is just garbage.

I'm trying so hard to have SOMETHING for you guys. I'm 1.5k words in to a fanfic, it might be about 3k words total. On the leaner side, I know. I don't know what I should do. Maybe post a WIP if that is all I have. But I want to get it finished ASAP, if I can.

I have chapter 2 of Wish Upon a Comet. I know a lot of you don't care about that one at all but at least it's something.

I have commissioned an artist to draw a pinup. He said he would have it done quickly, maybe as fast as tomorrow or the day after. Hopefully that will make it worth it.

I also have a sex scene illustration incoming. IDK if it will be done by the end of the month though.

EDIT: I've paused February, I'm going to take a break and try to catch up.

i find this is common with patreon content creation. its completely normal to go through dips in your creative processes. Hope you feel better soon!

don't stress yourself too much. this happens a lot with any kind of creative work. it's totally okay to put it down for a little while and do something else to recharge and mend. And eventually, you'll feel ready to come back and pick it up again. take care of yourself.

I hope you are doing better. Mental health is an often avoided subject but so important. Please remember that you have fans because your work is amazing! I don't use that word often. When I say it, I mean it with full conviction. I read a lot of adult fiction. Straight, gay, and everything in between. You have a rare talent my friend. Rarely do I encounter a writer who keeps me coming back to read the same work over and over. I found your work on nifty.org years ago. I'm so lucky that I did! Fast forward to today, and now I get a huge rush of dopamine when I see an email in my inbox alerting me of an update to your work. The things you are able to come up with, and the way that you can paint a picture with words is inspiring. Doing quality work is no easy task, and the fact that you have been able to produce so much should not be dismissed. You are excellent at what you do!!! Please be kind to yourself and remember that taking care of your fans also means taking care of yourself. We want you healthy for your own sake, and yes, maybe a little selfishly for the sake of our fap banks. Don't stress out too much if you can help it though. I know it's easily said, yet can seem like an impossible thing to do when you are in a bad head space. Try to remember that you've been though hard times before and focus on the fact that you've always come out stronger and better for having done so. I can't speak for everyone of your fans, but I have no expectation that you produce work non-stop. I'm happy with anything I can get. I'm here as a patron and that means supporting you how I can, so that you can can develop as an artist. You are an awesome writer and I've seen you get better as time passes! You are also an awesome person! I can say this because I've seen how hard you are on yourself when you think you've let us down. When you've been unable to give us a new chapter, you have bravely addressed the issue. You may not feel brave at the time, but trust me when I say that you absolutely are. It is the mark of a good man to face their fear and act. I had a drill sergeant that used to tell us that no brave man is without fear. I've come to learn the truth of that over the years. Doing something that doesn't scare you is not brave. A brave act can only happen when we are afraid of doing something yet forging ahead and doing it anyway. You are writing when many people aren't brave enough to do it at all, let alone for an audience. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for having given me an experience unlike any I've had before. Please get well and know that you are appreciated.
