Hello Patrons!Welcome to another full-length look at the latest TOO OLD FOR THIS episode, exclusively for patreon!

You've seen them everywhere. Labubus, the popular line of collectible designer toys, specifically plush toy monsters, created by Hong Kong-born artist Kasing Lung. Falling into that ugly cute category that's also somehow the way some of Jesse's exes would describe him, you'd think he'd know what these were. But maybe he's just too old for this?

Anyway...anyone wanna buy some Scump co.-branded Glurmie Figures? Got a huge blind box here...you can pay in cut bagels or yre bucks... PS: Loved the editing and jokes

People always compare these sorts of things to Beanie Babies but something people always overlook or ignore is that Beanie Babies are still going strong 30+ years later. Thing about Beanie Babies is that, even outside of the hype, they just happen to be quality toys. That rarely can also be said for most other things that come into the sort of collectability fad.

People are so bored in corporate America that they chase any kind of excitement they can find, and then companies gatcha them to death. Kinda makes sense.

Wow…I’m still in my 20’s and I’m also going I’m too old for this…why do people (if they’re not just profiting by making videos) engage this blatant marketing schemes?

I agree with Jesse! I’m too old for this… this trend is not wholesome anymore.

That civil war letter bit might be one of the best bits in the history of bits. Love it.
