How can anyone actively dislike Disney movies?? 🤣 I love seeing into their personalities and profiles.

ehmmm me, for example? I don't really like them... and I saw a few other people who also don't like it :)

Okay thinking about it, a lot of Disney movies are overrated and the Frozen hype is so old I cannot stand it... But... sometimes they make things that aren't all princesses and fairy tales, like Big Hero 6, and did you know they also helped make Spirited Away?

but the fact that they helped to make spirited away doesn't make it Disney movie... and I actually know some people who don't like ghibli because it's like Disney for them, so that can also be the case! Big hero 6 was fine, but not spectacular for me, to be honest... i can only remember Baymax (did I call him right?) because he was cute, but I don't remember the story and everything else. so not enough to make me really love all Disney films for that, unfortunately. But oh, I recall I liked the movie "Luca"! was it Disney? but still one movie i liked won't make me love the majority of stuff they make

All very good points. I guess growing up with it being the number one producer of kid stuff I just accepted it early on. I don't like their base characters though, like Mickey and Minnie and their friends. But Alice in Wonderland (the animated one) was a movie I watched with my grandmother many, many times as a kid and it's one of my most favorite stories of all time. The imagination and the "dare to think different" theme just resonated with me from an early age. Anyway, I'm not trying to convince you TO like Disney movies or anything, that'd be like someone trying to convince me to like super hero movies... It just surprised me to see it written down. 😋

oh I actually don't like base charas like Mickey mouse too! I just don't get the appeal, but it's like the same with sanrio charas for me. Alice in wonderland is nice! I'm a big fan of the book actually! but it always felt so different, the book and the animation, but I might be wrong, I watched the animation when I was super little...

I love the books and actually like to look for Wonderland movies made by different companies and countries. They all tell a slightly different version of the story and it's really cool to see how it's interpreted in different ways. My favorite find so far has Tina Majorino as Alice, and includes a huge list of actors that I really like as the other characters: Whoopi Goldberg, Christopher Lloyd, Martin Short, Gene Wilder... And what's weird is that I had never seen any promotion ads for it, just found it in a video store one day.

oh! it seems like I've never heard of this one! I only remember the one with Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter
