It is theorized this brightly colored chalk is fey in origin. Or perhaps created by a powerful wizard for his children...A mischievous thrill overcomes you as you pick them up.

This is one of those items which is so satisfying for that "Aha! How about...this?!" moments. I added the portal elements as I think it allows players to get more creative with it. The limited chalk usage keeps their power in check.

Oh hey, quick question, is it fine if, as the storyteller of a game, you(me) modify an item to better fit the world, or add optional buffs for the items you(as the artist and creator) how it's created? I thought of "upgrade" ideas that would better fit certain items you have made(this one specifically) to fit my campaign but I didn't want to overstep as these items are already amazing as is.

Hey sure! You’re welcome to change the rules to it, especially for your game. It’s your game at the end of the day!! You can change anything. Goodness knows I steal so many ideas for my dnd plots and puzzles 😅 I like the idea of items that evolve over time. I plan to make a few but getting it simple enough to fit in all the text is tricky

That's more than fair, haha! Thank you so much for getting back to me on this. As an artist myself, I find that something might be offensive so I prefer to ask. In addition, I was trying to fit it into Pathfinder 1e, and most of your items seem to come from the DnD 5e rulling, so I actually would have to change a lot of the item to make it fit, oops... Other things make a little less sense. i.e. the necrotic damage(or negative energy damage in Pathfinder) for the wand that explodes corpses makes a little less sense than making it just sonic damage, but I'm not sure if that damage type is in DnD so it likely makes sense from the standpoint it's created from, if that makes sense.
