Stinkbeetle Breastplate (Patreon)

Made from the carapace of giant stink beetles, this breastplate is often worn by beast-tamers. Though the shell is odorless, a thin powdery coating gives it its repulsive taste.

I usually limit the amount of 'shiny' lines in my items as I think they can look 'cleaner' with flat colors. I wanted an iridescent look to this, with that kind of sheen you get from insect's carapace.
