Once weilded by a great Paladin, this sword has been neglected by generations of posturing nobles. It is foretold that its blade will shine again like the dawn when taken up by a hero of the bloodline.

I suppose DMs would be at liberty to decide whether to keep the cursed feature or not, it’s mostly a ‘roleplay’ elelment to consider!
