Nintendo All Stars Art Academy Game Was Pitched (Patreon)

Headstrong Games is the company responsible for the Art Academy games on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Their last entry in this series was 2016's Disney Art Academy on 3DS.  Around that time, it appears they also pursued developing an Art Academy title that would have centred around some of Nintendo's most iconic characters in a pitch called 'Nintendo All Stars Art Academy'.

It was pitched as a Nintendo 3DS game and would have featured a host of Nintendo themed modes and drawing challenges. You can get an exclusive look at concept art from the proposal illustrating some of these ideas above.

The status of the project is unknown. It's always possible that it could be revived, but there are no immediate indications that it was green-lit for full development by Nintendo. Perhaps one day it will show up on the 3DS, or possibly even Switch.
