Giving up on Twitter, & Perfect Dark 2 (Patreon)
Content
I've sort of stopped posting on Twitter, firstly. I've grown bored of it. I think I will still use it for promotional purposes and it might be fun to tweet jokes around E3 time. Other than that, I don't really have a use for it. There are so many things about Twitter that I can't stand. I felt like it was the right time to step back.
Maybe I'm just following the wrong people, but it's constant drama with Twitter - especially if you follow a lot of people who are big into video games. For me, Twitter is a constant deluge of people arguing over rumours, reviews, anything - I didn't sign up for this shit. I don't give a fuck about the thing of the day in video game land that everyone is collectively getting upset over that isn't actually important at all.
I can't handle the sheer level of toxicity and ego anymore. For now, I'm just going to use it as a device to plug my work. Hopefully, you all understand.
Anyway, here is something more interesting - my next video is about the cancelled sequels (yes, more than one) to Perfect Dark on N64 since I had a lot of requests to do more Rare games. I've been speaking to its director and he provided me with a lot of fascinating details about what was meant to have been.
I hope you are all doing well and I'll be back with that new video soon. Thanks again for your support. It means a lot.
