Heyyyy wanting to start Final Fantasy? Well some great starting games are FF1, 4, or 6 via Pixel Remaster, FF9 via any of the modern ports, and FF10 via 10/10-2 HD. Those are all the best for newbies to get a taste of tone and writing for the series. FF9 is a unique outlier, and my personal favorite, since it was made by Square's old USA office since the main team was making 10 at the time. It has a charm that the other games don't have.
