Announcing the "Atlas of Rong'lu" and Probable Restucturing (Patreon)

Hey everybody!! We're incredibly excited to announce a new project that we're making the central focus of Cosmic Stew: The Atlas of Rong'lu.

The Atlas of Rong’lu (just Atlas for short) will be a recurring, stylized compilation of maps, both new and old (retouched). It will contain at least one (1) exclusive map, background information on each location, and 5e compatible encounters for select maps. The Atlas will be released in volumes, each of which will focus on a specific continent. The Atlas of Rong’lu: Volume One will center on Lurzia.

The Atlas will enable us to continue delivering high-quality maps and narratives while working towards our ultimate goals of full-scale campaigns and sourcebooks. With this development, however, we are strongly considering restructuring our tiers to better reflect the work we'll be putting out - though we obviously want to minimize any negative change to the content you receive.

We're thinking something like this:

As a member of the Caravan ($1 tier) you will gain access to high-quality maps, at least two a month, as they come out.

As a Fortune Finder ($3 tier), you will gain access to the perks from the previous tier, as well as the continuously growing, “Atlas of Rong’lu.” We will strive to release a new atlas volume every two months, with minimal variation.

As a Yunkan Ambassador ($5 tier), you will gain access to the perks from previous tiers, as well as “The Ambassador’s Atlas,” a special edition of the Atlas of Rong’lu that includes authors’ notes discussing our thoughts going into each map. You will also be credited in each Atlas released while you're pledged, and you'll get a mini-campaign tied to each Atlas volume (the release of which will be staggered by about a month as they take longer to create than the Atlas).

We will continue to release whatever fun random stuff we create, but the Atlas of Rong’lu will become our central driving project. We want to know what you think about this possible restructuring, so let us know in the comments! If we don't hear anything negative or irreconcilable by Monday then we'll go through with the changes and charge ever onward into Atlas creation!
