In 2016, The Playlist released a list of the Top 25 Drama Since The Sopranos, and Game of Thrones made the top 5, while shows that stuck the landing, namely The Leftovers and The Americans, didn't even make the top 10. With GOT's downfall in artistic quality, how far do you think The Americans and The Leftovers, along with your own favorite, Succession, would have done in the top 25 if it was revised?

1. Can we expect more interviews from people like Steve and Sophia as the Jon Stewart series continues? They were both amazing and I would love to hear more thoughts on the issue from more people. Especially, perhaps, from someone who used to work on the Daily Show when Stewart was around or is maybe even people who are working on a modern show with a similar format to the Daily Show (Hint hint....some more news...hint hint.) 2. I just saw people on the politics subreddit a few days ago saying that they want Stewart to run for office and that they would definitely vote for him. Some even said he should run for President. Why do you think people still want to view him as some sort of "political authority" figure? Do you think the people who grew up with Stewart like you and I did just have fond memories and are experiencing a sort of nostalgia effect? Or do you think that there is something more to it?

I'm excited to see your thoughts on Euphoria! I'm sure some of this will be addressed in the upcoming video, but what (aside from aesthetics) do you think distinguishes it from more campy or less critically acclaimed teen tv like Riverdale or Sabrina? Where does it fit in the legacy of shows like Skins vs other landmark Peak TV series that focus on adults?

Good job on What Happened to Jon Stewart - well worth the wait! I think you nailed most of the reservations I had about him, leaving out only his penchant for making monsters like Bill Kristol and notorious assholes like John McCain seem like okay guys (edit: listening to the full Dr McClennen interview and you did touch on that there). Looking forward to Part 2. Q: How are you liking Seattle?

Hi Jackson! So excited for all the new videos you talked about in your newsletter (Barry! Severance!). I’ve been thinking We Are Lady Parts (my favorite show of 2021), and one thing I particularly liked about it was the 20-minute episodes. Unless I’m really into a show, I find it hard to get into shows with one-hour/one-hour+ long episodes. I still think this is a cool shift, since prior to streaming, it seems to me that most TV had to fit into the 30 minutes with commercials length. I’m just curious about your thoughts on longer episodes. Are you generally a fan of them? Do they work for some shows but not others? Thanks so much for your answer! :)
