How important are the Honorable Mentions to you when you do your year-end lists? I denote I am still planning and hoping to finish my 100 Most Acclaimed Episodes list, sometime before I die, and I'm wondering if episodes like the "Starting Now" episode of Barry, even if it didn't make your top 5, still hold value to you, and should be accounted for? Also, I am still going to unsubscribe some time around January for money issues.

Since you included it on your "five favorite episodes list" let's talk the last episode of Atlanta! I think your point about how the final episode "erases the line between reality and surreality" is a good one and in many ways it kind of perfectly encapsulates what the show is about on an artistic level. I watched the series finale with my mom and she had a take on it that I thought was really interesting. In the previous few episodes of season 4 we know that Earn and Van plan to leave Atlanta. Alfred/Paperboi also appears to be trying to settle into life on a personal farm. In "It Was All A Dream" all the the people that Darius encounters through the episode before he gets to the restaurant are people he seemingly hasn't seen in a while. My Mom's take is that the episode is about Darius remembering people the people he misses. She thinks the episode takes place after Van, Earn and Alfred have all moved away and that Darius is just remembering the good times he had with people he cared most about. I would be curious to hear your thoughts on that. Also a couple more quick questions. First, "The Goof Who Sat by the Door" great episode of television Or GREATEST most batshit insane episode of television ever? Second, reservation dogs! I saw 'roofing' made the honorable mentions list of your top 4 favorite episodes. I loved that episode as well but for me the best of the season were "Mabel" "Stay Gold Cheesy Boy" "Offerings" and the season finale "I Still Believe." What made "Roofing" stand out to you over those other ones I mentioned? For me the last two episodes of season 2 in particular cemented it as one of my favorite shows of all time. I thought the finale was beautiful and extremely touching.

How do you decide to stop watching a show? Do you go by a three episode rule like the anime community, or are you confortable with dropping a show within its first episode? What's your favourite fiction book (or book series)? After how many season do you think a show qualifies as "long", as in affecting your willingness to start watching it?

I'm used to everyone saying "standard time" when it's really daylight savings time (aka "summer time"); this is the first I've seen someone say PDT when it's really PST!

Bachelor video essay when??? Jk lol but there's a question I have that I don't know quite how to articulate just yet - it's about popular games being adapted to TV for adults (Halo, The Last of Us, God of War). I'm not sure if you game at all, but I'm curious about your thoughts on turning a video game (a story you directly interact with due to the nature of having control over a character) into a TV show (a story you watch and physically cannot interact with). For games like The Last of Us and the newer God of War games, I think they're on the easier side to adapt due to having SO much story, but I've seen other folks disagree and say that the impact is only as strong since it "feels more real" since you control the characters. I don't fully agree, but I'm curious what your thoughts are! Also, will you watch The Last of Us when it comes out next year?

Hoping to get this in under the wire (pun always intended): how did you feel about the way We Own This City followed up on the philosophy and politics of The Wire?
