Hey everybody! I missed last month because I was hosting company and simply do not have space in my tiny studio apartment so let's get a big mailbag for June!!

Hit me with your questions! Ask me about anything, including, but not limited to:

- Fentanyl!- Writer's Strike- Cop shows/Police "reform"- Any show mentioned in the TV Roundup- My pRoCeSs- The Nuggets championship season and where it fits into the larger story of NBA history- That's enough ideas for you, come up with some of your OWN!

I'll post the link here as always but I'll be live on Sunday 6/18 @ 5pm Pacific so submit your questions before then...

UPDATE: I'm having technical difficulties (my webcam has decided to kick the bucket and my camera's batteries will not hold a charge). I'll be recording my answers/responses to this tonight and posting it, sorry it won't be live!!

1. Have you listened to Cerise Castle's podcast "A tradition of violence" about the history of deputy gangs in the Los Angeles Sherrif's office? If you haven't there is an episode discussing the way TV portrays cops and apparently there was a TV show called The Oath that was developed with aid from a former Sherrif gang member. Have you considered doing an episode on Sherrif's departments for copaganda due to their somewhat unique status as law enforcement officials? 2. I've seen some discussion recently about how the tech sector is using the way that AI has been portrayed in popular culture, like in the Terminator movies, as a means of marketing their products and distracting from the real problems that new AI tech would actually cause (like screwing over TV writers!). The Copaganda series tackles similar ideas, (EX. Fentanyl as its portrayed on TV, and the way US Military ads evoke the visual language of Marvel films). You have talked about making a video about advertisements before and I'm curious as to whether you would ever do a video examining the larger relationship between TV and marketing, and how marketing uses narratives from TV. Perhaps that's too broad of a topic to cover and you would need to narrow the focus, but I think the general public should be interrogating this topic more. If nothing else, a video on the subject would be an excuse to discuss the talk show episode of Atlanta from season 1! EDIT: P.S. Something to potentially research for future copaganda. The DNA data being collected by private companies like Ancestry.com, and the potential it has to be purchased by law enforcement. Perhaps something to explore in a video about either forensic analysis, or the right to privacy. https://www.ajc.com/news/national/can-police-legally-obtain-your-dna-from-23andme-ancestry/8eZ24WN7VisoQiHAFbcmjP/

Hello, I'm still working on the The 100 Most Acclaimed TV Episodes of All Time, a list made out of other lists, accessing what gets on and is frequently mentioned in the conversation of the best TV episodes of all time, and I note the WordPress account you had for your website, Ideas at Play, is currently down, and the Top 5 lists, besides 2018, which was in video form, is gone, do you have a back up of those things, or will I have to use The Wayback Machine for your 2016 and 2017 Top 5, plus 2017's Honorable Mentions, and also, I hope to finish this project, before 2023, before your and everyone else's lists come out, and I have to factor in episodes from this year like Succession's "Connor's Wedding" into the top 100. My Gmail is therealjimnady@gmail.com if you want to mail me the 2016 and 2017 Top 5. I think soon, after, contributing to your Patreon for a month, I will probably quit sometime in July, due to wanting to save money.

Anything about the nuggets. Do you think their core is sustainable enough to fend off new-look Suns & remain the most likely title winner for next 2-4 years? Or just gush about Jokic for a few minutes
