MDRP's "State of the Roll" and a HAPPY NEW YEAR! (Patreon)

As we ring in the new year, we wanted to get you hyped for what we're planning for 2023 by sharing a tentative schedule of what we hope to accomplish, as well as some structural changes we’ll be making to our content.

STRUCTURAL CHANGES

One change we're implementing is transitioning away from predominantly live twitch streams. While we love the live chat, we want to strike a balance with the improvisational feel of a live game while also improving the production quality. We'd like the power to edit out technical issues or add sound fx to our games which will require post-production.

Expect most of our content in the new year to be pre-recorded. Vegas By Night will remain live on Twitch through the end of Chapter 1. Fortunately, Youtube has a live chat function during a show's premiere so you can still expect to interact with us in the chat. We just won't be playing AND chatting live.

We usually release episodes in 3-4 hour chunks. We're concerned this puts off more casual listeners. In 2023, we hope to grow our audience by producing a higher volume of shorter content.

Expect to see a large portion of sessions released throughout multiple 1-2 hour episodes and more campaigns consisting of 3-4 sessions only. Some shows, such as Vegas by Night, will continue with the longer format. This will result in more content and, we hope, more engagement.

SCHEDULE

Please note that exact dates and times are tbd and subject to change.

Vegas By Night, will return in mid-January and run for another 2 months before we end chapter 1 of our chronicle. Expect live games on Twitch every other Saturday around 11am PT.

* For patrons at the $5 level and higher; The last two one-on-one sessions starring Mal and the kinksters will be released in the coming weeks.

In the Spring;

Mall Goths vs. Visigoths is getting a sequel GM'ed by Zak.

Allegra will run an original adventure of Tales From The Loop.

In the summer;

We'll return with the second chapter of Orpheus as Vince returns as GM!

*Orpheus will likely replace Vegas by Night in our Saturday 11am live time slot.

Caleb plans to run a game of PbtA: MASKS. The cast will roll up superheroes to protect the same city. This campaign will likely premiere on weekdays.

Then, in the Fall;

Sergio will run an original strange adventure using Kids on Bikes 2e titled, "There's Something Wrong in Aunt Debbie's Backyard".

On October 31st we return to Delta Green with a new arc of Doomed To Repeat! The show will continue in its original, audio-only format.

Towards the end of the year, Sergio will run an original Fate Core: Mecha vs Kaiju campaign titled, "Godzilla: King of the Universe".

Sprinkled between ALL of this content will be more Ashoka one-shots, more Delta Green one-shots, a return to Night's Black Agents, and possibly even a Thirsty Sword Lesbians game run by Amanda. A session 0 will be recorded for every campaign and available to view early for patrons.

So many games, so many characters, and so many adventures to be had for all of us in 2023!

THANK YOU to all of our patrons and listeners. We wish you all a very prosperous and happy new year.
