Since announcing our release of Black Project Gaming's playthrough of God's Teeth, we've been ecstatic to welcome over twenty new patrons, along with an equal number of free patrons. This surge of support is truly incredible! It's evident that Black Project Gaming boasts a dedicated listener base, and we're honored to host them alongside us.

While BPG has managed to maintain a consistent recording schedule so far, we haven't amassed a substantial backlog of recordings to cover potential session cancellations in the future.

For this reason and to ensure consistency, we've decided to adhere to a monthly release schedule for the foreseeable future. We'll let you know if things change, but you can expect new episodes of GOD'S TEETH to arrive around the 3rd Friday of every month. Episode two is planned to come out March 22nd.

In the interim, we want to take this opportunity to introduce our new patrons to all the great Mayday content also available for your enjoyment.  Here are the top 5 shows you might enjoy while waiting for the next episode of God's Teeth.

-------------

1. Undoubtedly, "Doomed To Repeat" or D2R stands out as the prime contender in our lineup. This Delta Green podcast chronicles the journey of six agents handpicked by the PROGRAM during the initial COVID lockdowns, forming a working group known as PERENNIAL. Charged with the task of delving into green boxes and unearthing the case files, evidence, and elusive leads that can shed light on the sordid past of their organization.

Guided by Sergio as the Handler, the game unfolds in a sandbox-like environment but gradually evolves into a gripping meta-narrative-driven campaign. The players create memorable agents, but things get interesting when they find "historical scenarios" in which the players roll up secondary characters to explore the various eras of DG. The narrative is seamlessly interwoven with published scenarios, and both past and present narratives come alive, offering some great intrigue and suspense. Additionally, Arc 2 introduces original scenarios crafted by Sergio and Vince.

With two complete arcs already available, we're now releasing new episodes for Arc 3 throughout 2024. D2R has garnered acclaim, earning awards such as Best Actual Play at LA Web Fest, Echonation, Beyond The Curve, and a notable recognition for Best Game Master at the esteemed Minnesota Web Fest.

2. If you yearn for the edgy and enigmatic realm of the World of Darkness, then our Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle, "Vegas By Night", cannot be missed.

Featuring Vince from BPG as a player, this chronicle delves into the lives of newly embraced kindred navigating the surreal landscape of Las Vegas. The group finds themselves courted by the tower and entrusted with serving as Watchmen, safeguarding the city from eldritch horrors that lurk within its boundaries and beyond. However, the chaotic energy of this coterie propels the story into unforeseen territories that no one at the table saw coming.

Under Caleb's masterful storytelling, this surreal tapestry of un-life is painted with striking detail. The players infuse a lot of humor into their kindred while remaining deeply tragic, creating a captivating blend of darkness and levity.

Available in both video and podcast formats, "Vegas By Night" offers a fun alternative to the brooding melancholy of most VTM actual plays. We're eagerly awaiting to play through Arc 2, which will start streaming live again in the summer of 2024.

3. Do you still want Vince as the GM but are willing to try a modern take on Ghostbusters? Then try our playthrough of White Wolf's Orpheus.

It's modern day, and ghosts are real. Companies like Orpheus have created industries that take advantage of this. You follow Crucible-12, a group of ghost-hunting professionals ranging from alive to very dead. The roleplay here sometimes borders on Rated R, but the characters are well-fleshed out and have dynamic interplays. Chapter 1 is complete, and we're currently playing through the final episodes of Chapter 2.

We think Orpheus showcases some of Mayday's best interplay while showcasing a different (lighter) side to Vince's GMing.

4. Are you into sci-fi and over-the-top action flicks? Then we think you'll love Godzilla: King of the Cosmos.

This is our Beam Saber AP, a hack of the Forged-in-the-Dark system about massive mechs and the jockeys who pilot them. The story centers around four jockeys in the mecha squad unit Last Flag (Planted).  For generations, Godzilla has irradiated the oceans and lands of Earth, leaving humanity with no choice but to cloister themselves high atop the Rocky Mountains. Our only hope is G-Force, the mecha battalion assigned to keep Godzilla at bay long enough for humanity to enact "the great plan," a multi-generational goal to leave Earth and find a new home. But what happens when the Oligarchy ruling over humanity known as The Summit has unexpected plans for Big G?

This AP features two guest stars: Darryl Dorsey of the Fang Gang podcast and Allison of Insight Checked. Both bring a breath of fresh air to the lineup while vibing perfectly with Mayday's Caleb and Zakiya. The cast is really funny while always staying in character. The AP is also a great way of learning how to play a forged-in-the-dark game, as the video version boasts tons of graphics and images that help a viewer new to the system understand the game's mechanics. The story is nine episodes total, all under an hour and GM'ed by Sergio.

5. Finally, since a few of the new patrons introduced themselves as DnD fans, we have to plug the ONLY DnD campaign we've ever released. The loveable Ashoka: Precious Cargo DM'ed by Eli.

The story follows a group of sea-faring adventurers who must deliver a strange little girl to a distant elven island. Hijinks ensue, and the team must deviate from their original course to sail through the dangerous waters of the Rokewood. Eli's archipelago world of Ashoka is colorful and full of unique world-building. Each second is packed with so much love and attention to detail from Eli, who not only edited the entire show but also did all of the sound design as well. Sometimes, we like to put an episode on just to listen to the ambient sound waves in the background.

If you're in the mood for a silly, low-stakes adventure that transports you to a magical new place, check out Ashoka!

Believe it or not, there are MORE Mayday shows we could recommend, but we'll save those for another time. Special thanks to @MirroredAnkh, who helped build the Spotify playlists.
