Thanks! Glad you like it! I was worried the story was going on too long, but I have to pretty much complete the arc of the first book, so there will be more chapters!

Take all the time you need. It seems that you manage this story with long paragraphs of text describing the complex and evolving feeling of the characters and I really like it. Emory Ahlberg does so, and maybe influences you on this point? I won't push the comparison too far because I am not personally very interested in Emory's characters thinking when I am very interested in Serenina's inner thoughts. I like her both discovering she cannot act as a dominant male anymore AND all the new exhilarating options she now get as a girl.

So we finally know how Serenina's promised husband looks like. IMO he looks more funny than ugly but still is in no way a good match for the incredibly beautiful Serenina. Future looks dark 😢. Devin, 💪 warrior and 🛡️ defender, where are you? 🙏

It is fortunate for fans of BB that when I started the graphic novel version I really had no idea how long it was going to take to tell the story in comic book form! It's kind of a fine balance between too many and too few worlds, but in trying to keep some of the qualities of the novel I do like the narrator comment or else show Serren's inner thoughts. Yes, I enjoyed very much creating the scenes where he discovers the joys of a good bubble bath and identifies with his mother!

I decided to go with funny and dorky rather than ugly, though-- spoiler alert-- we will see he can be a little ugly on the inside when he and Serren meet. Devin is coming as is Asryn! I have soooo much to do. Ahhhhhh!
