As far as I know she's a human, but you're right that it's easy to confuse her with an alien when she's only in black and white.

I just looked between a pic of ADA and Angel, and they are very similar in appearance. Which Makes me wonder if Angel's DNA somehow is involved with ADA physical appearance.
