2026-11-03 05:00 Y'know, some burdens turn out to be extremely beneficial to life, and love(andkisses) :'> Also, in my head, our exhausted Grey knight....speaks with....alot....of pauses. Does she or is that just in mah-mind?

She's just talking slow, trying to be cautious and subtle to not trigger the dangerous, parasitic changeling. :3

"S-subtle"? I mean...Mim looks -pretty- triggered (fear-triggered but still~) but tell me though, do you give much thought to a character's voice, not just speaking mannerisms?

hushabyevalley

Oh yes, I find voices super interesting, so it's always something I consider :3

YogSoggoth

Parasitic changeling?

hushabyevalley

A matter of perspective :3 She's a changeling, a baby abandoned to the mist after birth but was rescued before full feralization. She's pretty harmless, but might be a bit... Clingy, I guess.

Mithaldu

On the previous page i was thinking Mim's teeth look particularly pointy. That is part of that, yes?

Christoph Bähr

So your telling me the Knights of the Grey induce fear in mist-thingies? That's pretty interesting.

All of this is so intriguing to me~ :3 we essentially have the perspective of newborns in the HV world (all the stories technically), loving everything... then we begin to understand more about the characters different ideologies and ultimately............. Ah~ kinda thing makes me smile :D

hushabyevalley

Yes, she was becoming more of a beast as the mist warped her body. :3 The less aware you are of yourself and the more hopeless, the more you lose track of what you are. And the mist changes you.

hushabyevalley

Yes, there's an air about the Knights of Grey that wards off the creatures of the mist. :3
